Set layout

Set layout of spreadsheet report designed for browser

To set the following layout for spreadsheet report:

  1. Navigate to Design page.
  2. Click Layout tab.
  3. Select the first layout from the options provided. You can set the field and layout properties.
  4. Map the fields to specific positions in the layout.
  5. Select the fields. The respective field properties will appear. 
  6. Define their properties.
  7. Click ADD FIELDS button to add more fields in the layout.
  8. Select the field. It gets included to the list.
  9. Click Close. The changes are reflected in the preview.

On completing layout mapping, the preview immediately reflects the changes made. Access the application to view your report. You will find that your spreadsheet report has assumed the layout that you have selected.

Note

You can remove fields that you do not require to participate in a report while setting a tablular layout for it. The delete icon available with each field allows you to remove it.

To set the following quick view layout for spreadsheet report:

  1. Navigate to Design page.

  3. Select the second layout from the options provided. You can set the field and layout properties.
  4. Map the fields to specific positions in the layout.
  5. Select the fields. The respective field properties will appear.
