Zoho Support provides you with a default e-mail invitation to invite your customers to access the customer portal. You can customize the invitation as per your requirements.
Customizing the Customer-portal Invitation
To customize the customer-portal invitation, follow the steps given below:
- Click Setup
- In the Customer Portal section, click Invitation Template
- In the body of the e-mail, make the required changes
- Click Save
You can preview the changes you have made before you send it.
Sending the Customer-portal Invitation
To send the customer-portal invitation, follow the steps given below:
- Click Setup
- In the Customer Portal section, click Invitation Template
- Select the e-mail ID from which you want to send the invitation
- Enter an e-mail ID to which you want to send the invitation
- Enter an appropriate subject
- Map the merge fields as required
- Copy the merge-field value and replace the fields in the e-mail body with them
- Preview the changes, if required
- Click Save
You can re-invite users if required. After users accept the invitation, they can access the customer portal.
