Adding Comments

You can add multiple comments for a single contract.

To add comments, follow the steps given below:

  1. Click Setup
  2. In the Automate section, click Support Contract
  3. Click on a contract
  4. Enter your comments in the Comments tab
  5. Click Comment

The name of the user and the time when the comment was added will be displayed below the comment.

Edit Comments

If you want to change something you wrote, you can edit the comment you left on a contract.

You can edit comments only if you have the Edit permission for Comments.

To edit comments

  1. Click Setup.
  2. In the Automate section, click Support Contract.
  3. In the Contracts List page, select the contract.
  4. In the Contract Details page, under Comments section, click .
  5. Make your changes and click Save beneath your comment.

Delete Comments

Occasionally, you may need to remove the unnecessary comments from a contract in Zoho Support for a better user experience. You may consider deleting the comments that are not useful for future reference.

You can delete comments only if you have the Delete permission for Comments.

To delete comments

  1. Click Setup
  2. In the Automate section, click Support Contract
  3. In the Contracts List page, select the contract.
  4. In the Contract Details page, under Comments section, click .
  5. In the Confirmation dialog box, click OK to delete the comment permanently.

Attachments

You can attach multiple files to a single contract.

To attach a file, do the following:

  1. Click Setup
  2. In the Automate section, click Support Contract
  3. Click on a contract
  4. Click on the Attachments tab

  5. Click Add Attachment
  6. Select the required file
  7. Click Open

The name of the user and the time when the attachment was added will be displayed below the attachment.
