Can I forward emails from my custom domain into BugTracker?

With email settings now you can forward your mails from domains like gmail and zoho mail and automatically fetch them as bugs in Zoho BugTracker. For this :

 

Step 1 : Go to Bugs tab. Click Bug Settings link and this opens the settings panel. Here click Email Settings option. Type in the bugs email to be configured i,e zillumissues@gmail.com and click Update Bug Email button.

Step 2 : To configure email forwarding from your Gmail to Zoho BugTracker.

 

For Example, if you wish to forward your mails from zillumissues@gmail.com in BugTracker you must configure your email server to forward a copy of your bug emails to this forwarding email address in your Gmail. Also check for email forwarding instructions at http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=10957

 

The syntax to be followed is <portal_projectstring>@pop.zohoprojects.com

 

Step 3: You can also set email forwarding in Zoho Mail. For this you need to follow the instructions given below and set up a email forward in Zoho Mail.

Note: Confirmation Mails sent to configure the mail forwarding gets filed as bugs in your project. Use this to confirm mail forwarding in your account.
