
Dashboard
The Dashboard is the first thing you will see when you log in to your Zoho Books organization. It will give you a clear picture of the financial health of your business.

Total Receivables
The Total Receivables section displays the amount your customers owe you. The section is divided into two parts:
- Current - The amount you’re yet to receive for invoices that haven’t crossed the payment due date.
- Overdue - The amount you’re yet to receive for invoices that have crossed the payment due date.

You can select Current or Overdue to view the Aging Details report. To customize the overdue period, you can click the dropdown next to the overdue amount, and select the desired time range.

Total Payables
The Total Payables section displays the amount of money you owe your vendors. This section is divided into two parts:
- Current - The amount you’re yet to pay for purchase transactions that haven’t crossed the payment due date.
- Overdue - The amount you’re yet to pay for purchase transactions that have crossed the payment due date.

You can select Current or Overdue to view the Aging Details report from where this information is fetched. To customize the overdue period, you can click the dropdown next to the overdue amount, and select the desired time range.

Cash Flow
The Cash Flow section helps you analyse the cash flowing in and out of your organization. The Cash Flow graph is generated based on the cash flow report of your organization. This section is divided into three parts:

- Cash as on “Date”: This displays the cash you had at the beginning and the end of your fiscal year.
- Incoming: This displays the cash earned through your sales transactions.
- Outgoing: This displays the cash spent for your purchase transactions.
You can customize the cash flow graph based on the previous year, this fiscal year and the last twelve months. To do this:
- Go to the Cash Flow section.
- Click the dropdown in the top right corner of the graph.
- Select the range.

Income and Expense
The Income and Expense section displays the Total Income and the Total Expenses of your organization.

- Total Income: This displays the amount received through Sales transactions and bank deposits.
- Total Expenses: This displays the amount spent through Purchases transactions and bank withdrawals.
You can click the bar graph to view the Profit and Loss report. You can view the income and expenses on cash basis or accrual basis. To do this, click cash or accrual from the top right corner of the graph.
You can customize the Income and Expenses graph based on the previous year, this fiscal year and the last twelve months. To do this:
- Go to the Income and Expense section.
- Click the dropdown in the top right corner of the graph.
- Select the range.

Your Top Expenses
This pie chart displays all the top expenses recorded in Zoho Books. You can click the different sections of the pie chart to view the corresponding transactions in reports.

You can customize your top expenses based on different time periods. To do this:
- Go to the Your Top Expenses section.
- Click the dropdown on the top right corner of the graph.
- Select the range.

Projects

The Projects section displays the following information:
- Project Name
- Client Name
- Number of unbilled hours
- Number of unbilled expenses
You can select any one of the projects to view the Project Details page in the Timesheet module. You can view the unbilled hours and the unbilled expense in this section. To do this, click unbilled expense or unbilled hours from the top of this section.

Bank and Credit Cards
The Bank and Credit Card section displays the list of all your bank accounts and credit cards added in your Zoho Books organization. You can select any one of the bank accounts to view your bank transactions.
