Constantly coming up with cool new features that make you fall in love with Zoho Mail is what we do best. We're excited to introduce some new ways that Zoho Mail can help improve your email experience.

Choose what you see

Email listings are designed to give you as much information about your emails as possible. Some of these details might be important to you, while some probably aren't. Zoho Mail's Email Listing Customization option lets you hide the details you don't want to see.

It's just a click away

Think about all the steps it takes to send an email to an address you've found on a website. First, you have to copy the email address, then open Zoho Mail, navigate to the compose window, paste the email address, draft the email, and finally click send. If this sounds like too many steps, then Zoho Mail's Default Composer feature is just what you need. Now you can configure your compose window—autofilled with your recipient's address and details—to launch when you click on any mailto link.

Do away with time zone conversions

With colleagues and customers spread across different time zones, you're always left converting your time to theirs, and vice versa. This is especially problematic when picking the best time to schedule an email. You can now save yourself time and effort by using Zoho Mail's option to select suitable time zones while scheduling emails.

Take your pick

A lot of the emails you send are addressed to the same people time and again. Now you don't need to type every recipient when you compose an email. When you enter any two recipients, you'll see a list of commonly emailed contacts suggested alongside the ones you've already entered. All you have to do is click on the contacts you want to add as recipients.

Only share what you want to

You no longer need to share an entire thread when all you want to share is a single email. Selected email sharing allows you to choose the emails you want to share from any email thread.

Some other tweaks:

  • With our new custom font support, the sky's the limit when it comes to fonts in Composer. If you're bored with the existing Compose fonts, you can add any of your system fonts to the list.

  • Your Outbox folder has been tweaked to make things easier. Along with viewing the time zone selected for the scheduled email, you can also edit the scheduled email directly from your Outbox.

  • Reminders help keep you sharp by reminding you to reply to or follow up on emails. However, reminders sometimes appear when you're in the middle of a task, and you end up forgetting about them. You can now snooze email reminders for a specified amount of time and come back to them at your convenience.

  1. Hi. I have a very basic doubt but canot find the answer anywhere. My Zoho Android client came configured with a very small font size for income mail. I cant find where to change it.

    1. Hi Muhammad, Your account seems to have been blocked temporarily due to a high number of bounced emails in a short span of time. On looking into your account activity, it seems like your account is now unblocked. Moving forward, please ensure you communicate with valid email addresses to avoid this in the future.   3. I like Zoho as an affordable alternative to Outlook. However, please put the effort into developing the Contacts module. It is far behind in basic features; this is a problem that will only hold you back from progressing further. - BLove

  5. ALL that hard work, Zoho.... ALL there's positive news features ... And.. STILL MS Exchange.emil.(I have four different Exchange accounts with four different domains... Microsoft and Google are getting all of my money but you don't offer me the way to give it to you) W H E N ... Will you support Exchange email in Outlook instead of this 1950s, IMAP stuff...

    1. Hi Shakeel, Go to Settings -> User Accounts -> Account settings -> Signature section. Under the signature section, you can choose one of the following options for your signature - Use desktop signature (if default signature is set in web version), Use Mobile Signature or No signature. Based on your choice, the appropriate signature will be added to mails sent from your Zoho Mail app.

    2. On looking into your account activities to analyze your issue, we've come across marketing emails that were sent from your email account. This is most likely the reason your emails are getting marked as Spam. To avoid this, you can use Zoho Campaigns for your marketing/ promotional emails in the future. :)

  9. I am using Dell convertible laptop/Tablet model Inspiron 11 - 3158. From the day one when I have loaded Zoho Desktop for Windows, it is displayed in a very small window (less than 1/4th of the screen. The buttons for maximise is not active. Most of the part is utilised in displaying the folder list and there is no space to show email list and the actual Email. Can someone from Zoho mail support me? Please revert back to

    1. Hi, You can resolve this issue by selecting the correct service region in the desktop application. From the menu listing, choose "Switch deployment" option and select the region where your Zoho Mail account is hosted. This will ensure you can adjust the size of your desktop client window. Hi this is regards to downloads to outlook, After i enabled two step notification in zoho i am unable to download mails in outlook, I am unable to change the same, Can some one guide me how to revert back to the old module or is there some settings in outlook that have to be changed for two step authentication

    1. Hi, Since you have enabled Two factor authentication, the normal password would not suffice to configure Zoho Mail in Outlook.   11. Some of these are useful. Thank you. Do you have an estimated time of arrival on the shared Notes feature? The ability to have multiple people, at the same company, editing a single note... Currently a user is only able to post a comment about someone else's note; but that's not true collaboration. For a long time now, Zoho has mentioned they were working on a solution, but didn't give any details. You are able to collectively edit Tasks already in Zoho mail. Also, you can collectively edit Zoho docs. I'm not sure why two people who both want to edit a Note was left out? Do you have a date that Zoho plans to launch this Notes collaboration feature?

Hi All, great new stuff :) Let me add some additional feature recommendations: - when we agree on a meeting with people via email, it would be the best to click on a button to create a meeting request by adding email addresses of the people involved to "participants" and email body to the meeting request body (aka. "Description") - it would be great to associate mails to CRM entities by using fields with pick list (e.g. module, entity, etc), - it would be great to have the attachment(s) available on the top of the mail in order to avoid long search for it/them Thanks!

Select the desired content from the event and select Event option from the Smart Create menu.   13. I have no access to my zoho email. Contacts say 33 at top but none will show. For my inbox it says I have unread emails but it shows none. Every day the number increases. For my sent emails it shows none. When I try to reach the help center after filling out the form and click the send icon, nothing happens. Tried three times. Search does not work. Painful for me to not have access to my email over several days now. If there is something I can do to fix it you must contact me at my address you have on file with instructions. I did nothing different, so I suspect it is technically in your control.

      1. Here's one, of many... In Zoho Mail, highlight respective email > a "right click" will show/give you the ability to "Create" Task or Event with the actual email copied into this new Task or Event. Also have this new Task or Event GUI feature mirror the fields as the CRM Task and Event Fields.

In CRM for Mail integration, when the password expires, we need to go to Settings>Channels>Email & update the password again which should not be the case - we receive multiple queries from the team members (whenever the password is expired & new password is set) that they are unable to send emails through CRM. Generally, it should be automatically updated as we work on a single login for all the apps. Just a request.

        1. Hi Sandeep, You can enable Two-factor authentication for your Zoho Mail account and use an application specific password to configure Zoho Mail in CRM. This way, along with your Zoho Mail account being secure with an extra layer of security, you will also not need to update the password frequently.   15. All that stuff may be of interest to some, but not much to me. I only want zoho to stay signed in when I have checked the stay signed in box. I'm not at all interested in seeing your full page ad about signing up for the paid version when I go to look at my mail.
