Partner credits

You can earn partner wallet credits in your Zoho account for each new acquisition you make without any support from Zoho whatsoever. The offer amount will be 25% of the first year contract value, with a minimum of $300 and a maximum of $3,000 per transaction.

What you can use Partner credits for?

  • Purchasing a new Zoho app on behalf of an existing or a new customer
  • Edition upgrade
  • Plan upgrade
  • Adding user licenses
  • Discounts to your customers

Offer conditions:

  • The lead must have been generated by the Partner without any support from Zoho.
  • Credits are awarded only when a customer purchases a product in the Zoho portfolio for the first time. Credits can be earned by Partner onboarding new customers only on the following products - CRM, CRMPLUS, ONE, DESK, PROJECTS, ANALYTICS, RECRUIT, PEOPLE, FINANCEPLUS, CREATOR
  • Credits will not be awarded if an existing customer buys another Zoho product (cross-selling).
  • Credits can't be exchanged for cash.
  • Wallet credits will only be added to the Partner's account after the payment is completed and the customer is onboarded successfully.

How to redeem Partner credits

  • Step 1Access the reseller payment portal.
  • Step 2Navigate to the Wallet credits column to see your available credits.
  • Step 3Use the option to redeem your available credits from the Payment page for any payment.

Earned Credits

These credits are earned by your customers when they switch from a monthly to an annual subscription or start an annual subscription. If customers fulfil the above criteria, they earn 12% of the transaction value capped at $1,000 per transaction.

Scenario 1: Partner customer who pays Zoho via the store: The credits will be added to the customer's wallet and they can use them whenever they want before expiry, for all eligible transactions. The partner will be paid the commission due (on the net value of the invoice) based on existing contractual arrangements.

Scenario 2: Customer for whom the partner pays Zoho and then invoices the customers: The credits will be added to the Super Admin's wallet.  In most cases, the partner will set the customer's email address as the Super Admin and the customer will be able to use the credits for all their eligible transactions.

What you can use earned credits for?

  • Purchasing of any new Zoho app
  • Switch to a higher edition of a current subscription

Offer conditions:

  • Partners cannot use credits earned by one customer for another customer.
  • The credits can only be used for purchasing new products or upgrading editions/ plans.
  • The wallet credits cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Credits can be earned on selected products decided by Zoho.

How to redeem earned credits (for customers only)

  • Step 1If you are an existing Zoho user, log in to your current Zoho product.
  • Step 2After logging in to your zoho product, access your zoho subscription page to view your credits.
  • Step 3You can also have a detailed insight on different types of credits in the credit dashboard under the Billing details tab.
  • Step 4You can upgrade to a higher edition (or) buy a new Zoho product based upon your choice using your wallet credits in the payment page.

Promotional credits

Promotional credits are offered to your customers by Zoho for specific events, via email or based on other criteria. These credits have limited validity.

What can you use promotional credits for?

  • Purchasing a new Zoho app
  • Switching to a higher edition of an existing subscription

Offer conditions:

  • Credits are only offered by Zoho.
  • These credits can't be exchanged for cash.

How to redeem promotional credits (for customers only)

  • Step 1If you are an existing Zoho user, log in to your current Zoho product.
  • Step 2After logging in to your zoho product, access your zoho subscription page to view your credits.

FAQ

  • Can the partner avail credits for all new acquisitions?

    No. Partners are eligible to earn this credit only for each new acquisition ( on first purchase) without the support of Zoho. You can earn these credits only on the below products: CRM, CRMPLUS, ONE, DESK, PROJECTS, ANALYTICS, RECRUIT, PEOPLE, FINANCEPLUS, CREATOR

  • Any exception for the usage of credits?

    Maximum of ($200 wallet credits only) can be used on the following products/bundle : Zoho One, Zoho Assist, Zoho Site 24*7, Zoho IT Management, Zoho Service Desk Plus, Zoho MDM, Zoho Patch Manager Plus, Zoho Log Management Cloud, Zoho Identity Management.

    For Annual purchases only, customers/prospects are restricted on the usage of Zoho Wallet credits upto 50% of the invoice amount or maximum of $200, which ever is lower

  • Can the partner use the existing wallet credit on the customer for the purchase of Zoho One?

    Yes ( But the existing customer of any Zoho product can’t use credits to purchase Zoho One)

  • If the customer purchases multiple products together, will the credit be provided for the whole transaction to Partner?

    Yes, 25% of the whole transaction value will be offered as a credit with minimum of $300 and maximum of $3000 per transaction (only on single transaction).

  • Where can the partner view their available credit?

    The available credits can be viewed in Zoho payments portal.

  • Are there different types of Wallet credit available?

    Yes, based on the nature of the transaction done by the partner or the schemes offered by ZOHO from time to time the credit type would vary. 

  • Can these credits be used for offline transactions?

    Yes, these credits can be used for offline transactions too. 

  • What happens when the customer cancels /downgrade the account in between the subscription period?

    All unused (earned) credits would lapse for the customer and partner will not be eligible to receive any credits for the respective customer.

  • Can the partner's customer transfer credit between 2 users?

    Yes. It can be transferred between users as long as it is within the same Organization.

  • Can the existing Wallet credits earned from previous transactions be used for a subsequent purchase with a discounted pricing? 

    For example, the partner has $300 in the wallet and negotiating a discounted pricing deal for a new product or a customer discount. Yes, the existing Wallet credit can be used.

  • Can the partner transfer this credit to their bank or card?

    No. These can be used only for purchases or upgrades within Zoho.

  • Can the Partner transfer their credit to a customer?

    Yes,on request basis only. The Partner has to write to wallet@zohocorp.com with all the necessary details.
