Zoho Inventory

Track Branch Transactions

After creating branches, you can start associating them with transactions. Let’s take a look at how you can track transactions for each branch in Zoho Inventory:

Associate Branches to Transactions

Each time you create a new transaction, you will be able to associate a branch with your transactions. For example, let’s associate branches to invoices. To do so:

  1. Go to the Invoices module in the sidebar.

  2. Click + New in the top-right corner to create an invoice.

  3. Select the Customer and the Place of Supply.

  4. Select the Branch for which you’re creating the transaction.

    Select branch in a transaction
  5. Based on the branch chosen, the relevant GSTIN and address will be updated in the transaction.

  6. Enter other details and click Save.

Insight: As the GSTINs are associated with branches, it tracks the transactions and helps generate relevant business and tax related reports.

Similarly, you will be able to create transactions and associate branches for other modules as well.

Pro Tip: If you’ve been maintaining a branch’s transactions separately, you can import them to your organisation along with the branch and map them accordingly.

Here are some points to note:

Generate Reports

If you’ve associated transactions with branches, you will be able to generate reports for a particular branch or for all branches collectively.
