How to Accept Payments
Zoho Payments is built to simplify the way you collect payments. Whether you use it as a standalone application or connect it to your Zoho Finance apps, Zoho Payments helps you collect payments in the way that best suits your business.
Payments via Standalone Options
If you’re using Zoho Payments as a standalone application, here’s how you can collect payments:
- API Integration: Integrate Zoho Payments into your website or mobile app using our APIs to accept payments through an embedded checkout widget. Refer to our Developer Docs for more details.
- Payment Links: Generate payment links that can be shared via email, or any messaging platform. Once shared, customers can pay securely and conveniently using their preferred payment method.
Payments via Zoho Finance Apps
If your business uses any of the Zoho Finance apps to manage finances, you can use Zoho Payments to collect payments for invoices, subscriptions, or payment pages. To do this, you will have to connect your account to a Zoho Finance app and then enable payment options to be able to collect payments.
Connect Your Account
If you created your Zoho Payments account from within a Zoho Finance app, it will be enabled by default. If you signed up through the Zoho Payments website, you can still connect it to your Zoho Finance apps and start collecting payments.
To do this, click Connect Now while setting up your account to link it to your finance app. Once linked, you’ll be able to use the same account to collect payments for your organization.
Insight: When you configure Zoho Payments in any one of the Zoho Finance app, it will automatically be available in all other apps (such as Zoho Checkout, Zoho Billing, Zoho Commerce, Zoho Invoice, and Zoho Inventory). This allows for a unified and seamless payment experience across all apps.
