App installation
When a user installs an app from Marketplace, you may collect their data for two purposes.
- Case 1: To notify users of product offers and promotions (optional) The name and email address shared here are subject to user consent.
- Case 2: To set up or configure the user's account (mandatory) Users must share their information in order to use their app seamlessly.
Enabling a trial
Users can test out your Marketplace application through a free trial. Upon activating the trial, the user's name and email ID will be shared with you and emails containing the following details will be sent to the user:
- Vendor contact details.
- Reminder about the trial duration.
- Request for review on the 5th, 10th, and 15th (final) day of the trial period.
These emails encourage users to communicate with the partner directly to address questions related to the application.
Review and feedback
Reviews and feedback are obtained from users who have both installed and uninstalled the app.
- For installed apps A user can share a review for an application from the third day of installation.
- For uninstalled apps If a user uninstalls an application, they will receive a feedback form asking the reason for uninstallation.
For reviews and feedback, the user's details such as the name and email address will be shared along with the review content. In case of any discrepancies pertaining to the review or feedback, please send an email to support@zohomarketplace.com
