SMS Text Message/Voice Call

  1. Sign into your Zoho account.
  2. Click the TFA tab.
  3. Choose SMS text message/Voice call as your mode.
  4. Enter the mobile number that you want to receive the verification code.
  5. Choose whether you want to receive them by SMS or Voice call and click Text Me.
  6. Enter the verification code that you received on your phone.
  7. Tick the Trusted Browser option and Click Verify.
  8. Enter your account password (for security reasons) and click Turn on.
  9. Click Continue.
  10. Store the backup verification codes using any of the three options available: 1) Save as text 2) Print codes 3) Send email
  11. Add a backup phone number that the verification code will be sent to in case your primary device is inaccessible.
  12. Click Send code.

Google Authenticator

  1. Before you choose this mode, install "Google Authenticator" mobile app in your phone.
  2. Sign into your Zoho account.
  3. Click the Two-Factor Authentication tab.
  4. To configure your account in Google Authenticator, scan the barcode image displayed on the Setup page.
  5. If you have any issues with the image loading, then you can use the 16-character "secret key" displayed by clicking the Have problem in loading the image? to configure you account in Google Authenticator.
  6. Enter the verification code that is generated by Google Authenticator.
  7. Tick the Trusted Browser option and Click Verify.
  8. Enter your account password (for security reasons) and click Turn on.
  9. Google authenticator is successfully configured for your account.
