Test Your Extensions

Once you’ve built your extension, you can test it in the Zoho Expense sandbox environment to ensure that it is working properly. This will help you review your extension before submitting it to our team for review. To test your extension:

1. Go to Zoho Expense Developer Portal.
2. Click Test Your Extension on the top right corner of the page.

You’ll be redirected to the Zoho Expense sandbox environment. You can test your extension here.

If you’ve released multiple versions of your extension, you can also test a particular version of the extension. Here’s how:

1. Go to Zoho Expense Developer Portal.
2. Switch to the Publish section at the top. The Publish tab will open by default.
3. In the Version History section, click the version number of the version that you want to test.
4. In the pop-up that appears, click the URL below Private Installation URL. You’ll be redirected to the Extension Installation page.
5. On the Extension Installation page, select the organization for which you want to install the extension from the dropdown below the Select Organization field.
6. Read and mark the I agree to the terms and conditions option.
7. Click Next if you have connections or click Install Extension.
8. In the following page, authorize the connections required for the extension and click Install Extension.

The specific version of the extension will be installed in the Zoho Expense organization that you chose previously. You can test this version of the extension in your organization.
