As we stepped into the new year, everyone at Zoho People was excited to unveil the new features and enhancements that we had lined up for you! With these and all of our updates, we strive to help our customers optimize the HR operations in their organization and help their employees work more efficiently. Here's a list of everything new in Zoho People from January:
Weightage validation for performance modules
Performance modules, including skill sets, competencies, and KRAs, give HR managers better ways to measure an employee's performance. When used effectively, these modules can be referenced during performance reviews to better align employee performance with the overall goals of the organization. With our new enhancement, you can decide the weightage limits for these performance modules. You can either limit their total weightage sum to a maximum of 100% or have no weightage limit at all. Course materials report in LMS
Zoho People's Learning Management System (LMS) can strengthen your organization's learning and development programs by supporting different learning styles and providing an excellent training experience to employees. The Reports feature that is available as part of Zoho People's LMS allows course administrators to access different reports that highlight how each course is performing. Under the reports section, we have now introduced a course materials report that indicates the number of course materials, like documents, URLs, videos, and more, that each course has.
This way, administrators can easily address the courses that lack sufficient materials without having to dig into the details of each course individually.
Download certificates in LMS
Last December, we introduced the Certificates feature in our LMS to reward employees who complete a particular course successfully. Before, only learners could download the certificate upon the completion of a course. With our new enhancement, administrators can also download their employees' course completion certificates. Half-yearly reviews under the Performance module
Continuous performance reviews are highly necessary for your employees, especially now that many employees are working remotely. Continuous reviews help employees understand their contribution to their organization and how it can be improved to drive better results. Initially, continuous performance reviews in Zoho People only supported monthly and quarterly reviews. With our new enhancement, reporting managers and administrators can conduct reviews every six months. Learn how to enable continuous performance reviews for your employees.
Tagging skill sets based on designation and department
Skill sets, which indicate the abilities required to complete a particular job, play a huge role in evaluating an employee's performance. In Zoho People, skill sets can be added and tagged to a particular domain, designation, or department. With this latest update, you can now tag the skills to a particular designation listed under a department.
