November 2021: Zoho People product updates

With the year coming to an end, we at Zoho People wanted to let you all know about some of the amazing updates that we've introduced to make HR functions as seamless and smooth as possible for both HR departments and employees alike. Here's a complete list of all the new features and enhancements in Zoho People from November 2021:

  • Access employee vaccination status in Zoho People

With COVID-19 vaccines being more accessible to people now, more and more organizations are considering making COVID-19 vaccines mandatory for employees to work from the office. This is being done majorly to contain the spread of the virus and ensure a safer work environment for all. To make this process as effortless as possible for your HR department, we have introduced Vaccination Status, a new form in Zoho People. The vaccination status form, when enabled, can be filled out by your employees right from their Zoho People dashboard. Once they fill out the form, you can access the number of employees who are fully vaccinated, partially vaccinated, and not vaccinated. This way, you can be updated on your workforce's vaccination patterns in no time. Learn how to enable this form in your Zoho People account.

  •  Edit published reviews in Zoho People

The performance management system in Zoho People has been designed in such a way that employees can get the most value possible from their performance reviews, streamline their performance, and set goals for the upcoming period. The reviews provided by you, your team leads, or an employee's peer can be published inside Zoho People for easy access by the individual. But sometimes, the person who gives a particular review might want to make some changes in the published version before completing the appraisal cycle. With our new enhancement, they can unpublish the review, make changes to it, and publish it again before the appraisal cycle is completed. Learn more about this feature. 

  • Define access to Reports

A few months back, we introduced a consolidated Reports module to provide Admins, managers, and employees access to a whole swath of useful data. With our new feature, administrators can define who can access both the entire reports section and the individual reports within it. Similarly, access to individual reports can be restricted just to administrators or managers so that the data stays safe.   • Include overtime and regularized entries under Present by Default

Last year, we had introduced the Present by Default option in Zoho People to mark certain employees present for their shift automatically. This feature can be super useful to manage the attendance of onsite employees, senior officials, and more who are unable to mark their attendance every day. With our new enhancement, the overtime and regularized entries of employees will also be considered automatically under the Present by Default feature. Learn more about this new enhancement.
