Viewing Payments
The Payments module in the left sidebar displays all the payments collected using Zoho Payments. The list view provides the basic details of all payments such as the Payment Date, Amount, Status, Method, Customer Details and Transaction ID.Â
Clicking a payment lets you drill down and view more details.
Payment Details
The details page contains the following sections:
Transaction Overview
This section gives a summary of the payment and includes the Payment Amount, Payment ID, Date and Time, Customer Details, Payment Method, and Status.Â
A Description of the transaction is also auto-generated that makes the transaction comprehensible.
Pro tip: Click the Copy icon near the Payment ID to use it to refer the transaction in bank statements or your finance apps.
In case you have refunded the payment, a mini summary of the refunds will be available when you click View Details near the refund information.
Payment Details
This section contains the details of the Amount Paid by the customer, Amount Refunded (if any), the Platform Fee, Tax (on the fee) and the Payment Descriptor you had provided in your settings. Convenience Fee and GST on Convenience Fee will be displayed only for transactions where these fees are applicable.
Payment Method Details
This section provides you all the details regarding the payment method used for the transaction:
- Card Payments: Cardholder Name, Card Number, Type, Category, Network, Issuer, Origin, and Expiry Date.
- UPI: Mode, Account Type, and UPI ID.
- Net Banking: Mode and Bank Name.
- Bank Transfer: Account Holder Name, Account Number, IFSC, and Transfer Mode.
History
A log of all the actions performed on your transactions are tracked under this section. Every payment or refund along with the date and time will be displayed for your convenience.
Payment Statuses
The payments are broadly classified into the following four statuses:
Succeeded: Payments that have been successfully processed.
Failed: Payments that were initiated by the customers but failed authentication or could not be processed due to an issue in the card network, temporary glitches or other errors.
Refunded: Successful payments that have been refunded due to any reason. Payments can also be Partially Refunded.
Disputed: Payments that have been disputed by the customer.
Cancelled: Payments that were initated but were cancelled by the customer.
Filter and Sort Payments
You can filter and view payments or search for a specific transaction using the available filters. There are four ways to do this:

View transactions by status
Switch between the status tabs available at the top of the list view table to view transactions in each status.

Search transactions
Enter the Customer name, Email, Payment ID, or Reference Number in the search bar next to the Date drop-down.

Filter transactions
Select filters from the drop-down to filter payments by Date, Payment Method, or the Status of the transaction.

Sort transactions
Sort payments by Date & Time or Amount in ascending and descending order.
You can also reset the filter to its default view by clicking the Reset Filters button.
Export Payments
If you’d like to have a backup of your payments on your device, you can export them. Click Export to download data from Zoho Payments in your preferred format.
