The challenge
Managing 80% of the micro-irrigation sector should have been a breeze; instead, it was a manual grind. With 50+ products spread across 60 key customers, the team was drowning in permutations. Every meeting required a detective session to figure out which products a customer was missing or why they were stalling. It was a tedious, manual process that forced the sales team to spend more time searching through data than actually talking to clients. They needed a solution that could automate these insights and instantly show them exactly what to pitch to whom.

Centralized data for smarter selling
Ravands operates on a recurring-business model, where standardization, traceability, and operational efficiency are critical. Zoho CRM functions as the entry point for every order at Ravands, managing lead capture, account and contact management, and the complete opportunity lifecycle.
The sales team regularly visits customers to conduct product demonstrations and gather detailed insights into customer processes, existing tools, and current product usage. Zoho CRM serves as the company's central system of record, capturing and organizing this information at the account level.
By consolidating field intelligence into a single, structured hub, sales teams gain a complete view of each customer—which makes it easier to tailor proposals, apply relevant discounts, and position the right products. Automating the deal lifecycle

Ravands has configured distinct Blueprint workflows for each sales motion (i.e., farmer, dealer, distributor, and OEM) to reflect the unique commercial and operational requirements of manufacturing-led sales. These guided workflows enforce stage progression, eliminate manual handoffs, and reduce dependency on follow-ups—all of which enables the sales team to operate with greater speed and predictability.
Upon deal closure, Zoho CRM seamlessly triggers downstream commercial and operational processes to ensure a smooth and controlled transition from sales to fulfillment: Quotes are generated, purchase orders are created, work orders move through approval workflows, and sales orders are issued—all automatically. This end-to-end automation minimizes errors and improves cycle times.
Ravands uses the following cross-functional integrations:
Zoho Creator: Once a deal is marked as Closed Won in Zoho CRM, deal details are synced to Zoho Creator to initiate work orders. These work orders move through multi-level approval workflows and are then routed to the manufacturing unit for tool creation. The entire manufacturing process is managed and tracked in Zoho Creator.
Zoho Books: The integration between Zoho CRM and Zoho Books enables the automatic creation of sales orders and invoices for closed deals, ensuring financial accuracy and eliminating manual data entry.
Zoho Inventory: This integration enables teams to manage stock availability, track inventory movement, and plan deliveries effectively, which ensures manufacturing and dispatch teams are aligned with real-time inventory levels.
Zoho Analytics: Zoho Analytics integrates with Zoho CRM and other Zoho solutions to consolidate data across sales, finance, manufacturing, and inventory. Leadership gains a unified, real-time view of deal performance, production metrics, inventory status, revenue, and overall financial health—all of which enables quick, informed decision-making.
