Give your business a mobile app. Welcome to Zoho Creator 5.

It is improvement in many ways, and new functionality in more ways.

Welcome to Zoho Creator 5

Dear friends,

We just celebrated our 12 year-anniversary as an app-building platform, and we’re thankful to everyone who’s stood by us along the way.

Today, I’m pleased to share with you our latest version of Zoho Creator.

After more than two years of reimagining the product and the value it offers to you, we’re finally ready for you to try out Zoho Creator 5.

What’s groundbreaking?

Mobile apps are.

Starting today, every app you build on Zoho Creator comes with a native app for iOS and Android by default.

Aside from accessing them within the Zoho Creator mobile app, you can rebrand your apps as you like. We’d love to see you incorporate some new features we think are cool, like enabling geolocation, customizing form and report layouts for tablets and smartphones, and setting gestures you’re comfortable with. (Hey, if you want to swipe left, we won’t force you to swipe right.)

Once you’re done, you can distribute your apps though the App Store, Play Store, or through our Mobile Device Management tool. And as always, we welcome you to showcase your apps on our Marketplace as well.

What else is new?

We’ve changed a lot of things, but some of the key elements remain familiar. The live mode of your apps, for example, have got new enhancements without being distracting or confusing.

As for the edit mode of your app…

Form builder on Zoho Creator 5

We’ve changed the user interface completely. With new ways to get started, you can now do more with less scripting. Our Deluge-based workflow builder has got a new drag-and-drop functionality. This means you can now create basic workflows like sending notifications, showing or hiding fields, creating schedules, and enabling approvals without having to code them. You can, as always, add advanced workflow functionality using Deluge.

One of the most important analytics tools for a business is the dashboard. That’s why we spent a lot of time perfecting the experience of building one. In addition to its HTML and CSS functionality, our page builder now has pre-built elements and a drag-and-drop interface so you can get to a finished dashboard faster than before. We’ve also introduced maps, timelines, and kanban reports so you delve into comprehensive data inspection.

While thinking about the finer details, we understood that new users want to experience Creator’s capability even before they get started. That’s why we added over 50 ready made apps to our existing App Deck. Along with hundred form+workflow templates, you might realize you don’t even need to customize them, let alone create from scratch.

Here’s the best part: All apps you create or install share the same database, which means you can look up and add information across them without additional integration. Plus, our third-party integration and REST API are always accessible.

Pricing restructured

With so many changes in the product—all focussed on simplifying Zoho Creator—we wanted to streamline our pricing as well. When billed annually,

Basic – Starts at $10/user/month
Premium – Starts at $20/user/month
Ultimate – Starts at $35/user/month

Take a look at monthly and local pricing.
