  • What is a data source?

    A data source is any location from where you wish to pull data for analysis. This includes files, feeds, local and cloud databases, and cloud drives, as well as business app integrations, such as Zoho CRM, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Zendesk, Jira Software, HubSpot, SurveyMonkey, LinkedIn, and much more.

  • What is a workspace?

    A workspace is a collection of data tables, reports, and dashboards. The workspace also contains structural information on how the tables are related to each other.

  • What is a table?

    A table contains a set of columns and rows (similar to a spreadsheet). Each column has a name and a type (data type) associated with it. A workspace can contain one or more tables.

  • How is the number of rows calculated?

    The number of rows (records) is the sum of records stored across the workspaces in your Zoho Analytics On-Premise application. For example, if you have 2 workspaces with 3 tables, and each table contains 100,000 rows, then the total number of rows (records) stored is 600,000.

  • How does the perpetual model work?

    The perpetual pricing model involves a one-time fixed payment, and an Annual Maintenance and Support (AMS) cost that covers upgrades and support. AMS is mandatory for the first year alone and is optional from the second year onwards.

  • How does the unrestricted license component work?

    The unrestricted license offers great flexibility on expanding usage, without worrying about having sufficient licenses under each add-on category. This is beneficial for enterprises who require flexible add-on licenses to scale on-demand. For instance, on purchasing the unrestricted license for email schedules, you can configure as many scheduled emails as required.

  • How does the server-based license work?

    Server-based pricing allows customers to pay based on the number of servers in which Zoho Analytics is running. It includes all license components (users, viewers, concurrent guests, and email schedules), and all Professional edition features. High availability is optional, and available at an additional cost.

  • What is the difference between the unrestricted add-on license and the server-based license?

    The unrestricted license component offers flexibility on the number of add-ons consumed (viewers, concurrent guests, and email schedules), while the server-based license is priced based on the number of deployed servers and provides immense flexibility across all license categories (users, viewers, concurrent guests, and email schedules).
