Introducing Real-Time Feeds for Mastercard [Canada Edition]

We've now introduced Real-Time Feeds for the Canada edition of Zoho Expense. Real-time feeds are card transactions that are received directly from card networks without relying on the bank, as soon as transactions occur. Real-Time Feeds is only available for users in Canada using the Canada edition of Zoho Expense with Mastercards issued in Canada.

New Process for Per Diem Configuration

You can now configure per diem rates for multiple travel locations by fetching the latest rates as declared by your government. You can import them manually, add custom rates, or add a per diem rate for a particular location. Germany edition

Launching the all-new Germany edition in Zoho Expense! When you select Germany as your location while creating an organization and enable VAT, Zoho Expense will preconfigure the applicable tax rates for businesses in Germany. Similarly, the mileage rates for Cars and Motorcycles as suggested by the German government will also be available by default, however, you can create your own rates for these vehicle types, based on your preference. Preferred Departure Airport

Users can now add their preferred departure airport in their Travel Profile or while creating a trip request. This will be prefilled in the 'Depart From' field of the trip creation forms. Additionally, based on the preferred departure airport Zoho Expense will also fetch the local airports and cities for the users' domestic trips.

Bulk Reject Expenses in Reports

If you want to reject more than one expense in a report, you can simply select the expenses you want to reject and click the Bulk Reject button. All the selected expenses will be rejected.

Comment on Expenses in Reports

In addition to commenting on expenses inside reports, you can now add comments on expenses right from the expense details page instead of switching to the report details page. Android App Updates

Now, you can upload up to 5 receipts at a time for autoscan from third party applications. If you enter the odometer start reading to create a mileage expense and put the app to background or the phone shuts down, the next time you open the app, the odometer reading will be remembered and prefilled so that you can create a mileage expense with the same reading without having to enter it again. In the Approvals module, when you view a report PDF, you can now select a template by which you would like to view the PDF. Now create mileage expenses for Electric vehicles using your mobile app. When you create a mileage expense simply choose the fuel type as 'Electric'. Also, when you add new vehicles to your mileage policy, you can associate this new fuel type for electric vehicles.

Restrict Recalling a Submitted Report

We've introduced a setting to restrict the users from recalling a submitted report if one of the approvers in the approval flow approves the report. In an approval flow, there may be more than one designated approver to approve a report. While creating an expense, if you enter a new merchant, the merchant details will be saved. Later, when you create new expenses and select that merchant, the expense category will be auto-filled. If the receipts fail to be uploaded to Zoho Expense, we will retry the syncing of receipts automatically. Also, you can retry syncing the receipts manually. You can now associate report types to reports and create expenses with the expense categories filtered based on the associated report type. Our expense and report pages now sport a brand new look! Along with the UI overhaul comes a slew of new features. View the history of each expense and report on the fly. A lot of approver specific features have been introduced in this update. This includes editing submitted expenses and the option to reject individual expenses. Now add comments from within our app. Custom fields now have a data type field. Limit the input to maintain data consistency. You can now edit the tax amount instead. Not always do you get a percentage! Create, edit and delete currencies on the go. We have also squashed some bugs in this update.
