The company
Wild Vision is a global content syndication company. It takes entertaining, viral, and engaging video content from online creators, and distributes it across social media platforms, streaming services, subscription TV channels, and even in-flight entertainment systems. It empowers over 700 YouTubers and content creators to broaden their audience across 34 diverse platforms such as Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, MSN, Amazon Prime, Roku, and more. Additionally, Wild Vision manages revenue shares from ad placements and channels commission payments back to its network of creators. The firm bridges the gaps between platforms, agencies, and individual talents.
The challenge
With its team working across multiple regions and offices, Wild Vision needed an operational platform that could deliver crystal clear visibility of data, precision tracking of deals, and easy means of collaboration. It also needed a customisable solution that could help it navigate complex, non-standard revenue cycles between platform ad earnings and creator payouts. What's more, the team needed to juggle the needs of content platforms, agencies, and creators in one space.
Having relied on a fragmented patchwork of tools in the past, including Discord for internal messaging, Wild Vision recognised the need for a unified system. Director of Operations, Jason Ghisoni, set about sourcing a cohesive solution that could optimise content pipelines, contract approvals, and cross-team workflows for its global staff.
The solution
Jason discovered the Zoho One bundle and was immediately sold. He was impressed by its cost-effective subscription, broad, integrated app portfolio, and scalable strength that beats standalone options.
"One of the key things that we wanted right out of the gate was to have an all-in-one business operating platform — Zoho One has been the best value for that."
Wild Vision's digital transformation started with Zoho CRM, which Jason credits with being "highly customisable... it allowed us to set things up in a way that was right for our business." It's used as a central hub to manage platforms, agencies, and creators through three interconnected, custom modules. "This makes CRM the single source of truth," adds Jason. Wild Vision also customised the Deal workflow process to ensure a smooth interaction between its sales and content management departments.
Next, Wild Vision bolted on Zoho Sign to Zoho CRM, allowing its teams to share contracts right from within a CRM record, pre-populated with all the relevant deal information, and then track the end-to-end digital signing process.
Moving on, Jason rolled out Zoho Cliq and Zoho Connect across the business, enabling seamless communication between colleagues, as well as highly visible, structured task boards for increased accountability. "Bringing company communication into Cliq and Connect has been extremely valuable... we can immediately create tasks from messages and have follow through," he explains.
Reflecting on the impact of Zoho One
Jason Ghisoni lauds Zoho One's far-reaching effects for Wild Vision, citing its value-driven USP and its baked-in scalability.
"For the price of Zoho One, it's such good value, and you only need around three apps on Zoho One to literally be saving money compared to other apps... like Quickbooks... or HubSpot."
He recommends any start-up businesses looking at software solutions to immediately consider Zoho's powerful potential, adding: "It's better to start integrating with Zoho straight away, because you can build all of your processes around it."
Looking forward, Jason plans to keep taking advantage of more and more of the Zoho One apps at his fingertips. "I'm starting a project to move off Gmail and move over to Zoho Mail. I wish I never signed up to Gmail to begin with!" he laughs.
