Last week, we announced a bunch of new features that we added to our product—All of them in line with our commitment to make Zoho Social the most effective social media management tool for your business. With that in mind, we worked hard to improve every aspect of the social media management experience.
The cornerstone of all social media accounts, of course, is the posts that they make. Therefore, it is extremely important for us to build a publishing tool so smart that it takes care of almost everything for you. With that goal in mind, we’ve done a couple of things—We’ve added a CustomQ feature and made a few enhancements to the existing zShare Plugin. I’m super excited to let you in on these new features, and how you can use them to make social media management even easier.
Before we get into the CustomQ feature, here’s a little history. At Zoho Social, we’ve always had the SmartQ—an intelligent feature that predicts the best time for you to make your posts based on past engagements on your content. This, along with our publishing calendar, made Zoho Social a highly effective publishing tool. However, we wanted to give you even more control over your publishing schedule.
The CustomQ feature is particularly useful if you want to maintain a consistent posting schedule on your social channels. This will allow your audience to expect content from you on a regular basis, and you can also be assured that there is no overlapping of content.
So how do you use it?
Pretty simple, really. You will be able to set up customQ slots in a couple of clicks. Once you’re done, you can always add more slots later, or remove slots that you don’t need anymore.
At Zoho Social, we truly understand the importance of curating content on your social channels. To make that easier, we’d built the zShare browser extension, designed to help you share interesting content without leaving your browser window.
While we’ve always had the zShare extension, we’ve taken some time to enhance it even further so you have the best experience possible. It’s now possible to edit content for different channels when you use the extension. This is particularly useful for two reasons—One, You can choose a copy that’s less than 280 characters for Twitter, and a longer copy for other networks and two, you may choose to use a more professional tone on LinkedIn, while using a different tone on other networks.
If you’ve edited your copy for any of the networks, we’ll let you know! You’ll see “Edited” appear below the social icon for the channel you’ve made your changes to. Now, it’ll be easier for you to do your last-minute check before posting or scheduling your content.
Oh, and that’s not all. When you make your posts, you’ll also notice that you’re able to add videos to them now, and that you can add emojis directly from within the product. That’s right. You can now spruce up you content and make it a lot more engaging. Couple that with the CustomQ feature, and the enhanced zShare plugin, and well… let’s just say there are lot of reasons to be excited.
