2020 has been quite the year for all of us. However, it’s in the past and we have now begun the new year with fresh hopes and improved confidence—and of course a new hobby or two. While the previous year dealt some pretty unexpected blows, we saw businesses around the world respond with resilience and sustain operations by quickly adapting to the changing times, improvising wherever necessary. Our customers continued to place their trust in us, and we continued to do our best for them.
Here at Zoho Mail, we did not let 2020 slow us down at all. In fact, we passed some major milestones, launched two new products, and won national challenges, all while working from our homes. Here’s a summary of our most important highlights from the past year:
New services for better emailing and collaboration
Zoho Mail launched two new services this year: Zoho TransMail for transactional email delivery and Zoho TeamInbox for collaborating over shared inboxes. We also opened Toolkit, our free admin lookup tool, to the public.
15 million users and counting
Zoho Workplace now has over 15 million users. This suite has been reimagined and re- engineered to become the complete office productivity space for businesses. The growing customer base for Workplace is testament to the fact that our users believe in our vision!
Workplace was named India’s best app for Office Productivity
Zoho Workplace won the Atmanirbhar app challenge, organized by the Government of India, and was named the best Indian app under the Office Productivity category.
One inbox for all your emails
Great news for all of you who enjoy the Zoho Mail interface but have multiple email accounts across different services: Zoho Mail’s IMAP client helps you consolidate emails from your different email accounts to a single place.
Timely updates for a smooth remote work experience
We realized that the increase in working from home led to increased use of messaging, calling, and meeting apps. We integrated multiple apps into Zoho Mail to provide these options so you don’t have to switch between your most used apps.
