Data Backup

Zoho Billing allows you to initiate a data backup to export all data from your organization. This is particularly useful if you want to export all your data and share it with people outside your Zoho Billing organization.

Prerequisite: You must be an Admin user in the Zoho Billing organization to create a data backup.

You can initiate three types of data backup:

Backup Data

You can backup all your data, including Plans, Customers, Invoices, Subscriptions in a CSV format.

To initiate a data backup for all your data:

An email will be sent to the registered email address after some time with the link to download the data backup as a CSV file. You can also click Download in the Backup Data tab to download the CSV file to your machine.

Note:

  • It can take around 30 minutes for you to receive the download link from the time you’ve initiated a backup.
  • The download link sent to your email address will expire in 30 days, from the date of your backup.
  • Once you initiate a data backup in Zoho Billing, you cannot initiate another data backup in the next 15 days.

Backup Documents

Zoho Billing lets you export all your documents into one single ZIP file. This helps you save time and results in smaller file size.

Insight: The download link will include only the documents uploaded between the previous and current backup date.

To initiate a data backup for your documents:

An email will be sent to the registered email address after some time with the link to download the documents as a ZIP file. You can also click Download in the Backup Documents tab to download the ZIP file.

Note:

  • It can take around 30 minutes for you to receive the download link from the time you’ve initiated a backup.
  • The download link sent to your email address will expire in 30 days, from the date of your backup.
  • Once you initiate a backup for documents in Zoho Billing, you cannot initiate another data backup for documents in the next 15 days.
