ZeptoMail Settings

Settings section is where you will add your Users and manage their access level permissions for your ZeptoMail account. A total of 70 users can be added in your ZeptoMail account. You can click on Settings on the left menu panel to view Settings section. It has two sub-sections - Manage Users and Delete Account.  

Manage Users

All the users for your ZeptoMail account can be viewed here. For each user, their role and their associated Mail Agents can be viewed. You can filter users based on Mail Agents or roles using the filter drop-down located below Manage Users header title. 

There are 3 roles in your ZeptoMail account:

Note:

  • All user roles are assigned at the Account level. ZeptoMail does not allow the setting of Mail Agent specific user roles.
  • Only Postmaster Access level can buy credits. Engineer and Viewer roles can only view the credit balance.

Invite a new user to your ZeptoMail account

  1. From the left panel, click on Settings.
  2. Click on Invite User on the top right corner.

Invite a new user to your Transactional account

  1. Enter Email Address of the invitee and select the appropriate Role and Mail Agents you want the invitee to have access to. Click on Invite.

  2. An invite message would have been sent to the invitee from your ZeptoMail account. Once the invitee accepts the invitation, the user can access your ZeptoMail account. 

  3. You can repeat the steps from 1 till 3 to add multiple users.

For all the users in your ZeptoMail account, you can perform the following actions in the User Listing:

Associate Mail Agents to a user

  1. Click on the Add Mail Agents icon in any user card and select the Mail Agents you want the user to access. 

Associate Mail Agents to a user

  1. A drop-down will appear with the list of all Mail Agents in your ZeptoMail account.
  2. Select a Mail Agent to which this user has to be associated. A tick mark will appear against Mail Agent in the drop-down list. This indicates that the new Mail Agent is added to the user. The added Mail Agent will be displayed next to the user in the Manage Users tab.

Remove associated Mail Agents for a user 

  1. Hover over Mail Agents listed within the user card. Click on Remove Mail Agent ​icon.

  1. Click on OK to confirm Mail Agent deletion for that user. 

Remove Users from your ZeptoMail account

  1. Hover over the user, a delete icon will appear on the right side of the user card. Click on the delete icon on the right corner of that user card.

Remove Users from your Transactional mail account

  1. Click on OK to confirm user deletion. 

Notification Settings

Notification settings can be used to set credit purchase reminder emails. The emails will be sent to your registered email id. By default the notification emails are triggered when:

  1.  Remaining credit count reaches below half the total credits after the last purchase.
  2. Remaining email count reaches below 10000, 1000, 500, 200, and 50 emails.
  3. Credit expiry date is within the next 10 days or 24 hours.

Apart from the default settings, you can enable custom notifications. Only Postmaster can enable and edit custom notifications. 

To set custom Notifications:

  1. Go to Settings menu in your account left panel.
  2. Under the Notification tab, you can set the custom notifications.
  3. Based on your preference enable either both the settings or one:
    • number of days before credit expiry
    • credit count limit
  4. Click on Save. You will start receiving email notifications to your registered account. 

 

Export Logs

The last 60 days email logs can be exported for a specific Mail Agent or for all Mail Agents in this section.

Steps to export your email logs:

  1. Go to Settings >> Export Logs.

  2. Choose whether to export the logs for a specific Mail Agent or all Mail Agents.

  3. Enter the filter criteria to export your emails.

    1. Date range: Enter any range within the last 60 days.

    2. Email status: Filter by Hard bounce or Soft bounces or both.

    3. Password: This will be set as the password to access the zip file.

  4. Click on Initiate Export.
  5. The zip file will be auto populated in the Export logs history section. The zip file will be available for 3 days from the export completion date.
  6. Click on Download to fetch the file to your local server.

Display Language Settings

YouZeptoMail supports the 59 display languages. You can change the language setting in your Zoho account user profile. By making this change the language will change across all your Zoho applications.

Steps to change the Display Language Setting:

  1. Log-in to your Zoho User Account.
  2. Click on Edit.
  3. In the language dropdown, search for your preferred language and click on Save.

  1. Now you can use the ZeptoMail interface in your preferred interface. 

Delete Account

You can delete your ZeptoMail account alone. If done, it will delete all the added Mail Agents, added domains, and the associated data will be removed permanently. Only a user with Postmaster access can delete the account. On initiating the deletion process:

  1. Email sending will be suspended 
  2. You will not be able to view any email logs, added domains, or reports
  3. You can revert the deletion process within 48 hours after initiation. You can revert this by accessing the UI or the link provided in the deletion notification email

Steps to delete account

  1. From the left panel, click on Settings >> Delete Account.
  2. Click on Delete. A pop-up will appear.


     
  3. Click on the check box to confirm that you have read the terms and conditions and enter your account password. Click on Delete Account.


     
  4. Your account deletion process has been initiated. You can revert the deletion process within 48 hours after initiation. If you wish to revert the deletion process, go to ZeptoMail UI or access the ZeptoMail UI by clicking on the link in the notification email and then click on Revert Deletion.

  5. After your account is permanently deleted you can create a new ZeptoMail account using the same email address and domains.

Note:

Before you get started it is important to know that ZeptoMail is for sending transactional emails like welcome emailers, password resets emails, OTPs. We do not support sending of bulk emails or promotional emails like newsletters or marketing campaign emails. If you are looking for a bulk email provider, you can visit Zoho Campaigns.
