We continue to train Zia in one new language every year to make her multilingual (French, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese), but we also wanted to enrich Zia's domain-specific vocabulary. So, we added legal and medical dictionaries to expand her ability to help professionals in those fields write with confidence. Zia now also helps you ensure consistency in the usage and spelling of English words and phrases across countries.

Legal and medical domain-specific dictionaries

It has traditionally been a challenge to detect spelling errors in domain-specific words that may not be included in regular dictionaries. Zoho Writer solves this challenge with exclusive medical and legal dictionaries containing 2,000+ and 6,000+ words, respectively.

Simply enable the desired dictionary, and Zia will start to highlight typos involving the domain-specific terms as well.

For example, while drafting a legal document, many legal terms (such as champerty) would be highlighted as errors. With the legal dictionary enabled, Zia not only avoids false error reports but also detects typographical errors in such words and highlights them to ensure that your documents are consistent and accurate.

Country-specific dialects and spellings
