Is it possible for my customers to choose the items they want from the customer portal?

At the moment, it is not possible for your customers to select specific items directly from the portal. Instead, transactions must be initiated from your Zoho Books organization, and your customers can then view these transactions in their portal.

However, there are alternative workarounds:

  • Use the Custom Tabs feature, which lets you display your product catalog from your website within the portal. This way, customers can access your website directly from the portal and conveniently place orders without leaving.

  • Integrate with Zoho Commerce to create a comprehensive online store. This allows clients to browse products, select items, and complete orders independently. Orders placed through Zoho Commerce will automatically create Sales Orders in Zoho Books for seamless management.
