ZeptoMail Dashboard

​Dashboard section displays an overview of your ZeptoMail account. You can navigate to Dashboard section from the left pane menu in your ZeptoMail account. The following sections will be displayed in the Dashboard:

Email Count

This section gives an overview of the mails sent from your ZeptoMail account in the last 24 hours. The data items displayed are:

  • Sent - Total number of emails processed. If your email has 1 recipient in the 'to' field, 1 recipient in 'cc' field, and 1 recipient in 'bcc' field; then the total count of emails sent is 3.  
  • Delivered - Number of emails delivered to the recipient.
  • Soft Bounces - Number of emails that did not deliver due to temporary reasons like recipient server being down or the recipient's inbox being full.
  • Hard Bounces - Number of emails that did not deliver due to permanent reasons like invalid recipient address.
  • Process failed -  Number of emails that have not been sent out due to various reasons. 

Credit Information

Credit Information displays the credit balance, the number of emails left, and the auto top-up option.You need to purchase credits to send transactional emails. A single credit allows you to send 10000 emails.You can click on:

  • Buy extra credits - to purchase additional credits.
  • View more details - to go to the subscriptions tab where you can know the credits purchase dates, credits expiry dates, and the credits usage details.
  • Enable now - ​to enable the Auto top-up feature for your account.

Mail analysis report

This report gives you a visual comparison of the details of your mail sent during the last 7 days. This section displays the count of below-mentioned events:

  • Sent - Total number of emails processed. If your email has 1 recipient in 'to' field, 1 recipient in 'cc' field, and 1 recipient in 'bcc' field; then the total count of emails sent is 3.  
  • Delivered - Number of emails that have been delivered to the recipient.
  • Hard Bounces - Number of emails that did not deliver due to permanent reasons like invalid recipient address.
  • Soft Bounces - Number of emails that did not deliver due to temporary reasons like recipient server being down or recipient's inbox being full.
  • Click - These clicks are for the links embedded in your email body.
  • Open - Number of times the recipient opened your emails
  • Process failed - ​Emails that have not been sent out due to various reasons.

Note:

You have to enable Email Tracking to track the number of opens and clicks.

Bounce categories :

This section categorizes and gives a graphical representation of the various bounces that have occurred in your account.

Chart options

There are three buttons on the upper-right corner of the charts. They indicate the following:

  • Time range - Lists the time range over which you wish to view the data. 
  • Download  - Allows you to download the chart to your device.
  • Expand - Gives you an enlarged view of the chart.

Setup Options

You can connect a Mail Agent to your application using SMTP or API. You can navigate to the Setup Info section in the respective Mail Agent to view the Mail Agent specific configuration values. Additionally, if you are a WordPress website owner you can use the WordPress plugin for ZeptoMail to send your website specific transactional emails. The WordPress configuration details are also provided in this section.

The Setup option section within the Dashboard helps you navigate directly to the Setup options within the Mail Agents.

Help Guides

Here you can quickly refer the help documents to help you set up your account and send emails.

  • SMTP & API Info - You can download the SDK file; get the SMTP configuration setting and the Send Mail Token for both API and SMTP.
  • Email templates - You can view how to create and use templates in your account.

Note:

If your SMTP application is restricting longer passwords, then you can generate a shorter password. Shorter passwords are generally less secure. Click on Generate shorter password to get your shorter password.​

Unverified Domains

This section displays a list of all the unverified domains across all your Mail Agents.

You can click on any of the unverified domains. This will take you to the Domains Tab. Here you will be able to complete the domain verification process for your unverified domains.​

Note:

Before you get started it is important to know that ZeptoMail is for sending transactional emails like welcome emailers, password resets emails, OTPs. We do not support sending of bulk emails or promotional emails like newsletters or marketing campaign emails. If you are looking for a bulk email provider, check out Zoho Campaigns.
