How do I create an email template for a recurring invoice?

The email templates for the recurring invoice will be fetched from the Invoice Notification section. The default template chosen there will be considered as the email template for the recurring invoice. Email templates created under the Recurring Invoice Notification section will be used to send email alerts after the successful execution of a workflow.

To change the default email template for a recurring invoice:

  • Go to Settings.
  • Select Email Notifications under Reminders and Notifications.
  • Select Invoice Notification under the Emails pane.
  • Select a template.
  • Click Show Mail Content.
  • Mark the option Set this to default.
  • Click Save.

Email templates created under the Recurring Invoice Notification section will be used to send email alerts after the successful execution of a workflow.

To create an email alert template for a recurring invoice:

  • Go to Settings.
  • Select Email Notifications under Reminders and Notification.
  • Select Recurring Invoice Notification under the Emails pane.
  • Click + New.
  • Enter the Template Name and the Subject.
  • Enter the email content.
  • Click Save.

This way, you can create templates to send email notifications and email alerts to your customers.
