Subscription

Overview

Zoho Creator offers Free, Basic, Premium, ExpressExpress Plus and Ultimate Plans. When you sign up with Zoho Creator, your account will be set up with the Premium Plan on a trial period of 15 days. The Premium Plan gives you full access to all the premium features in Zoho Creator. On completion of the trial period, your subscription will be set to Free Plan automatically. The features specific to the Premium Plan will no longer be available in the Free Plan. To continue with the Premium plan or to subscribe to one of the paid plans, users need to set up the subsciption billing, which is explained in the next section. The data will be retained safely during the upgrade. Users won't be charged until subscribed to a paid plan.

Subscribing to a Plan

To subscribe to a paid plan, click on Upgrade Now link displayed in the top-right corner of your Zoho Creator Home page. This will display the Subscription page, which allows users to subscribe to a Plan in 4 easy steps. 

  1. Select a plan

    By default, the Premium Plan will be selected in Step 1. To change from Premium to any other plan, click on the  icon displayed on the extreme right. This will display the Zoho Creator pricing details for each plan. To buy a specific plan, choose the plan you want to subscribe to and click on UPGRADE. The pricing currency is automatically selected based on the location, and is displayed on the top-right corner of this page.

  2. Enter Plan Details

    Select the following details in the Plan Details section. The net amount to be paid will be displayed based on the selected Plan.

    • Select the plan duration as Monthly or Yearly.  The yearly plan will be selected, by default.
    • Next, select the number of users with whom the app will be shared. A shared user can access the app or specific Forms/Views in the app based on the access permissions provided by the app owner.

    After selecting the required options, click on Continue to go to the next step. Users can go back to Step 1 and change the selected plan by clicking on the Edit icon displayed in the Selected Plan section. 

  3. Review Order

    The Review Order page displays the order summary based on the selected Plan details. Click on Confirm to confirm the plan and to make the payment. Users can also go back to Step 2 or Step 1 by selecting the Edit icon displayed on the right end of the respective sections.

  4. Make Payment

    Users have the option to pay with credit card or to pay with PayPal. Fill-in the required details and click on the Make Payment to process the transaction. Users can also go back to Step 2 or Step 1 by selecting the Edit icon displayed on the right end of the respective sections. 

     

    A success message will be displayed post successful transaction.

Add Users/Reduce Users

  • To increase the users count

    1. Click on the Subscription Link displayed on the top-right corner of your Zoho Creator Home page. This will display your current subscription details as shown in the following image. Click on Upgrade User/Add-Ons

    2. Specify the number of users to be added. The amount to be paid for the additional users will also be displayed. Click on Continue to confirm the order and to make the payment. 

     3. On the next screen, click on the Make Payment to make the payment. 

    4. If the payment is successful, a success message will be displayed as shown in the image below.

  • To decrease the user count

    1. Click on the Subscription Link displayed on the top-right corner of your Zoho Creator Home page. This will display your current subscription details as shown in the following image. Click on Downgrade User/Add-Ons

    2. Specify the count of users to be decreased and click on Downgrade.

     3. Click on the Confirm to proceed. 

    4. A success message will be displayed post successful downgrade of user count.

Change Plan

Users can upgrade/downgrade the Subscription Plan anytime from the Subscription page. 

  1. Click on the Subscription Link displayed on the top-right corner of your Zoho Creator Home page. This will display your current subscription details as shown in the following image. Click on Change Plan.
  2. The Plan details will be displayed with the CURRENT PLAN button highlighting your existing plan, as shown in the image below. 
  3. To upgrade to a higher plan, select the plan and click on its UPGRADE button. The total amount to be paid will be displayed on the lower right end of this section. Click on the Make Payment button displayed in the confirmation message box displayed below the section. If payment is successful, your account plan will be upgraded and a confirmation message will be displayed.
  4. To downgrade to a lower plan, select the plan and click on its DOWNGRADE button. Click on the Confirm button displayed in the confirmation message box displayed on the lower right end of this section, to downgrade your account plan.

Switch to Yearly

Users can switch to a Yearly plan anytime from your Subscription page. 

  1. Click on the Subscription Link displayed on the top-right corner of your Zoho Creator Home page. This will display your current subscription details as shown in the following image. Click on Switch to Yearly.
  2. The yearly amount will be displayed for user reference. Click on Make Payment to make the payment, post which a success message will be displayed and your account plan will be switched to yearly.

Update Credit Card Details/Billing Address

The credit card details page will be displayed only when you are subscribing for the first time. For subsequent upgrades or downgrades, the existing card details will be used. To update your credit card details or billing address,  

  1. Click on the Subscription Link displayed on the top-right corner of your Zoho Creator Home page. 
  2. To update credit card details, click on Credit Card link displayed on the bottom-right corner of the subscription page. 
  3. To update Billing Address details, click on Billing Address link displayed on the bottom-right corner of the subscription page.
