Subscription

Overview

Zoho Creator offers Standard, Professional, Enterprise and Express Plans.  When you sign up with Zoho Creator, you will be set with the Enterprise Plan on a trial period of 15 days.  The Enterprise plan gives you full access to all the premium features in Zoho Creator. On completion of the trial period, your subscription will be set to Free Edition automatically. The features specific to the Enterprise edition will no longer be available to you. To continue with the Enterprise plan or to subscribe to one of the paid plans, you must set up billing for your subscription.  You can set up billing at any time. Your data will be safe and retained fully on upgrade.  You won't be charged until you subscribe to a paid plan.

Subscribing to a Plan

To subscribe to a plan, click on Upgrade Now link displayed in the top-right corner of your Zoho Creator Home page. This will display the Subscription page which enables you to subscribe to a plan in 4 easy steps. By default, the Enterprise Plan will be selected in Step 1. If your choice is Enterprise plan, directly proceed to Step 2: Plan Details as shown in the screen-shot below.

To change from Enterprise to any other plan, click on the  icon displayed on the right end of the Step 1 section. This will display the Step 1: Choose a Plan section. 

Step 1: Choose a plan

The Choose a plan section displays the Zoho Creator pricing details for each plan. Each plan comes with specific features for specific requirements along with various add ons. The following details are displayed:

  • The yearly cost involved for each plan. For example, the cost of the Professional Plan is $100/user/year
  • The number of records that can be stored in your account. For example, the Professional plan supports upto 5000 records per user.
  • The number of applications that can be created. For example, the Professional plan supports upto 50 apps per account.
  • The size of file attachments allowed for upload. For example, the Professional plan supports upto 1 GB of file upload per user.
  • The features supported in each plan.
  • The Buy Now link to purchase ADD-ONs.

To buy a specific plan, choose the plan you want to subscribe to and click on UPGRADE. The currency is automatically selected based on the location and displayed on the top-right corner of this page.

Step 2: Enter Plan Details

Select the following details in the Plan Details section. The net amount to be paid will be displayed based on the plan details selected.

  • Select the plan duration as Monthly or Yearly.  The yearly plan will be selected, by default. The benefits on the yearly subscription will be displayed in this page. 
  • Next, select the number of users with whom the app will be shared. A shared user can access the app or specific Forms/Views in the app based on the access permissions provided by the app owner.
  • Select the Add-ons to be purchased (if any).  Zoho Creator offers the following Add-ons that can be purchased at an additional cost.
    • Customer Portal: Allows users to login into a dedicated internal system and access restricted data. Read more here.
    • Records: Additional number of records 
    • Emails: Additional number of emails that can be sent per day.
    • Integration API: Additional number of API calls per day. Read more here
    • Schedules:Additional number of schedules you can sent per month. Read more here.
    • SMS Credits: Additional number of SMS messages that can be sent per month. Read more here.
    • File Attachments:  Additional file attachment size required
    • Webhooks:  Additional webhooks with which you can configure HTTP URLs and associate these webhooks in workflow rules. Read more here

Once you have selected the required options, click on Continue to go to the next step. You can also go back to step 1 and change your plan by selecting the Edit icon displayed in the Selected Plan section. 

Step 3: Review Order

The Review Order page displays the order summary based on the selected plan details. Click on Confirm to confirm the plan and make payment. You can also go back to step 2 or step 1, by selecting the Edit icon displayed on the right end of the respective sections.

Step 4: Make Payment

You have the option to pay with credit card or pay with PayPal. Fill-in the required details and click on the Make Payment button to process the transaction. You can also go back to step 2 or step 1, by selecting the Edit icon displayed on the right end of the respective sections. 

 

If the payment transaction is successful, a success message will be displayed as shown in the screen-shot below.

Upgrade/Downgrade Plan

You can upgrade/downgrade your subscription or cancel your subscription anytime from your Subscription page. 

  1. Click on the Subscription Link displayed on the top-right corner of your Zoho Creator Home page. This will display your current subscription details as shown in the screen-shot below. Mouse over the Plan name and click on Upgrade/Downgrade Plan.

  2. The Plan details will be displayed with the CURRENT PLAN button highlighting your existing plan, as shown in the screen-shot below. 
  3. To upgrade to a higher plan, select the plan and click on the UPGRADE button. The total amount to be paid will be displayed on the lower right end of this section. Click on the Make Payment button displayed in the confirmation message box displayed below the section. If payment is successful, you plan will be upgraded and a confirmation message will be displayed.
  4. To downgrade to a lower plan, select the plan and click on the DOWNGRADE button. Click on the Confirm button displayed in the confirmation message box displayed on the lower right end of this section, to downgrade your plan.

Add Users/Reduce Users

To add new users,

1. Mouse over the Plan name and click on the Users - Add button displayed on the right end of this section, as shown in the screen-shot below.

2. Specify the number of users to be added. The amount to be paid for the additional users will be displayed on the right end. Click on Continue to confirm the order and make payment. 

 3. Click on the Make Payment button to make the payment. 

4. If payment is successful, a success message will be displayed as shown in the screen-shot below.

Purchase Add-ons

You can purchase Add-ons like customer portal, additional records, emails, file attachements etc. anytime, at an additional cost. To purchase add ons,

1. Mouse over the add on, for example, Records Add on and click on the Add Records button displayed on the right end of the add on section, as shown in the screen-shot below.

2. Specify the number of additional records to be added. The amount to be paid for the additional records will be displayed on the right end. Click on Continue to confirm the order and make payment. 

3. Click on the Make Payment button to make the payment. 

4. If payment is successful, a success message will be displayed as shown in the screen-shot below.

Update Credit Card Details/Billing Address

The credit card details page will be displayed only when you are subscribing for the first time. For subsequent upgrades or downgrades, the existing card details will be taken. To update your credit card details or billing address,  

  1. Click on the Subscription Link displayed on the top-right corner of your Zoho Creator Home page. 
  2. Select  Your Store Details > Billing Details link displayed on the top-right corner of the subscription page. 
  3. In the Billing Details section, mouse over the card details and click on Change to update card details.
