Web Tabs

Web tabs allow you to embed external web pages or applications within Zoho Books. Create custom tabs that load URLs, making it easy to access third-party tools directly from the Zoho Books interface.

Create a new web tab for the organization.

Arguments

name

string

(Required)

Name of the web tab.

url

string

URL of the web page to embed. Max-length [500]

order

integer

Display order of the web tab.

shared_mode

string

Sharing mode. Allowed Values: all, onlyme and selected.

shared_to

array

List of users/roles to share the web tab with (used when shared_mode is selected).

Show Sub-Attributes

shared_type

string

Type of sharing. Allowed Values: user or role-based (e.g., books_role).

shared_id

long

ID of the user or role.

role_name

string

Name of the role.

permission

string

Permission level. Allowed Values: read, write, writeonly and none.

portal_webtab

boolean

Whether this web tab should be available in the portal.

is_zoho_url

boolean

Whether the URL is a Zoho URL.
