Apple unveiled iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 at their WWDC event in June this year where the talk was all about focus and user experience. They previewed a slew of enhancements that let users choose and personalize what’s visible on their screen based on how they wanted things – ‘more work, less distractions’ or the other way around! It was quite the wait, exciting nonetheless, until they finally released these software updates last week following the launch of their latest generation of gadgets.
Aimed to improve the overall experience of people that rely on their devices to get most of their work done, here’s a brief round-up of these latest updates to the Zoho Sign app on iOS 15 and iPadOS 15.
You can now add Zoho Sign to your Smart Stack widget. This lets you catch the momentary glance or two at your paperwork status without the need for an additional widget on your home-screen.
The new extra-large widget for the iPad can help you track and keep an eye on both the documents that you need to sign and those that have been sent out for others’ signature. This takes advantage of the larger iPad screen to list the documents under both the categories along with other contextual information.
Print from anywhere
It’s often not enough that your paperwork is signed and ready to access on your device. You may still need a printed copy and you probably end up having to mail yourself or a colleague a copy so that it can be downloaded and sent for printing from a computer. That’s no longer necessary as Zoho Sign now lets you print documents directly from the app by sending it to a printer connected to your network.
Working within Zoho Sign and launching the app functions is now a lot more efficient with our improved keyboard shortcuts. In fact, most actions take just a couple keystrokes as you can see below.
Drag and drop text
iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 not only leverage built-in AI capabilities to support text selection in images but they also support drag-and-drop of text across active apps and tabs. This makes it much easier for you to add ‘text’ fields into Zoho Sign documents by dragging and dropping text from other documents, apps, and images.
Enhanced pointer interaction
If you use a trackpad or mouse with your iPad, our latest enhancements make interacting with Zoho Sign documents using your pointer even more convenient. You can easily add signer fields, resize them, and reposition or align them to suit the design and format of your documents.
