  1. We run a Service base business and I want to know if there is a way to edit the Invoice Template to customize to how we want it to look.
    Also is there an option to create a Service Invoice which will then be converted to an Invoice once completed.

      If you’d like to edit the fields in the Invoice template you can do that through the Templates sections under Settings. If you are looking for a specific structure for your Invoice Templates, we would need a sample PDF to check whether it is possible.   2. I just activated the free version of zoho invoice. But no matter how many times i tried, i don’t get the invitation to Client Portal. (I tested using creating a contact with an email i own and sending an invite through admin area.)

    Then i tried accessing the portal URL and clicking on forget password. But i don’t receive any emails.

    Can you please advise what could be the problem?

  3. We sell a product no a service. Just order and ship. This 100% b2b. We do not have/need a website or shopping cart. My question is if it is possible for a customer to place a new order straight off the portal?

    Basically, just want to make it as easy as possible for my customer to re-order, like a button to press immediately after paying off the previous order.

      At the moment we do not have that functionality in our Client Portal. Having said that, I will forward your suggestion to our developers. We will keep you updated on any developments in this regard.

      Each client portal access that you give your customers is password protected. When you enable the client portal for your customers, they are requested to set up their login credentials.

      You can enable Client Portal through the Organization Profile section in Settings and configure the portal for your customers through their respective details page in Contacts section.

    1. Hi Joseph,

      By default the Email Templates will have the phrase ‘Sent using Zoho Books’ in subject line for those who are in the trial version. If you are in the paid version the Zoho Books branding will not appear by default and you have the option to enable/disable this through the Preference section in Settings.
