End User Terms for Instant Bank Account Verification
and Risk Assessment

As part of Zoho Corporation’s (“Zoho”, “us” or “we”) underwriting and risk assessment process, we may require you to provide us with certain information about your bank account designated for receiving settlements from Zoho Payments ("Settlement Account"). We use the bank connectivity service provided by Adyen NV ("Adyen") to provide you with a facility to share your bank account information with us ("Facility"). By using the Facility, you expressly agree to these End User Terms ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not proceed or use the Facility.

  • In order to avail the Facility, you may be required to submit the banking credentials of your Settlement Account through an interface provided by Plaid Inc. ("Plaid"), a service provider engaged by Adyen. Plaid will retrieve certain information relating to your Settlement Account, such as your account number and routing number (“Account Information”), and share the Account Information with us.
  • Zoho will use your Account Information to (i) verify ownership of Settlement Account; (ii) evaluate credit risk, fraud risk and other associated risks for Zoho in providing Zoho Payments services; (iii) facilitate settlement of funds to your Settlement Account; and (iv) exercise Zoho's rights under Zoho Payments - Terms of Service.
  • Plaid and Adyen will process the Account Information and other information submitted by you in connection with your use of the Facility, in accordance with their respective privacy policies. You understand and agree that Zoho will not be liable for the processing of such information by Plaid or Adyen.
  • You understand that the Facility is provided on an “as-is” and “as available” basis. Zoho does not make any representations or warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of any information obtained through the Facility and will not be liable for any loss or damage relating to your use of the Facility.
  • You may discontinue your use of the Facility at any time by sending an e-mail to support@zohopay.com. In such event, we will stop collecting any further Account Information through the Facility. However, any information collected prior to such discontinuation may be retained and processed by Zoho for purposes such as (i) facilitate settlement of funds to your Settlement Account; (ii) to detect and prevent fraud; ; (iiii) in connection with legal claims or proceedings; (iv) to enforce our rights under the Zoho Payments - Terms of Service; or (v) to comply with other legal obligations.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your use of the Facility at any time, without any prior notice.
