Introducing Zoho Spend - Mexico and Singapore Editions

We're excited to announce the launch of Zoho Spend for Mexico and Singapore. The Singapore edition supports Goods and Services Tax (GST) requirements, helping businesses registered with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) accurately manage GST on their transactions. The Mexico edition includes localized tax configurations to support businesses in managing their spend in accordance with regional tax requirements.

Retain Vendor Advance While Deleting Bill Payments

You can now choose to retain vendor advances when deleting bill payments. If a bill payment includes an advance payment, you'll see the Dissociate and Add as Credit option during deletion. Selecting this option records the dissociated amount as a Vendor Advance Payment, allowing you to reuse the credit for future transactions with the same vendor.

Manage payroll by Pay Groups [IN Edition]

Pay Groups help payroll teams process payroll separately for specific employees within the same pay schedule. Employees can be grouped by work location, department, employee type, or reporting tag. Once a group’s inputs are ready, payroll can be processed for that group without waiting for every other group to be finalized.

Introducing Zoho Travel - Online Booking [US Edition]

You can request access to online booking and configure travel policies with booking limits and conditions. Once enabled, employees can independently book flights and hotels while staying compliant with your organization's travel policy. Employees will receive warnings or be prevented from making out-of-policy bookings based on the configured travel policy.

You can now partially receive items from bills and partially create bills from purchase receives. This enhancement allows you to receive or bill quantities in stages and track the remaining quantities to be billed or received later, making it easier to manage phased deliveries and partial invoicing.

Introducing Advanced Reporting Tags

Advanced Reporting Tags in Zoho Spend allow you to filter and track transactions with precision by creating tags and options that can be applied at both the transaction and line item level. You can organize options in a parent-child hierarchy, control their visibility by mapping them with other tags or locations, and restrict user access to transactions based on associated tags and locations. These tags can be associated with items, customers, vendors, and transactions.

Consent for Negative Net Pay

You can now approve regular pay runs that include employees with negative net pay after reviewing and acknowledging their pay details. Zoho Spend lists the employees with negative net pay, and lets you provide consent for each employee before approval. This helps you proceed with payroll only after confirming that the negative net pay has been reviewed.

Enhance Hierarchical Approvals with the Approval Processor

We've introduced the Processor to enhance the Hierarchical Approval flow. The Processor acts as the final approver, ensuring every record reaches a definitive approval stage after completing the submitter's reporting hierarchy. Any user with approval permission for the entity can be designated as the Processor.

Allow Employees to Request Loans from the Employee Portal Early Access

Employees no longer have to depend entirely on HR or payroll teams to initiate a loan request on their behalf. Instead, they can go to the Loans module in the Employee Portal, choose an available loan type, enter the required details, and submit the request themselves. Biennial Frequency Support in Scheduled Earnings [IN Edition] Early Access

Scheduled Earnings supports multiple frequency options such as One-Time, Annually, Half-Yearly, Quarterly, and Custom Frequency. In addition to these existing frequency options, we've introduced Biennial frequency for Scheduled Earnings in Zoho Spend. Biennial frequency allows a scheduled earning to be applied once every two years.

Zoho Spend now allows employers to customize pay periods for the Semi-Monthly pay schedule. To set a semi-monthly pay schedule, go to Settings > Pay Schedule > click Twice a Month.

Forecasting Support in Analytics Module Early Access

We’ve introduced Analytics Report Forecasting in Zoho Spend to help admins identify trends and make informed decisions. Currently, forecasting is available for the Trip Expense Summary report. Along with forecasting, Zoho Spend also provides Insights to help you better understand your data.
