New Integration
Integrations- Digital signatures via Evrotrust: Organizations based in our US data center can now digitally sign documents with a qualified electronic signature (QES) in the European Union (EU) and an advanced electronic signature in Kenya and other countries. These digital signatures are issued to signers by Evrotrust, a qualified trust service provider (QTSP) in the EU, which also issues digital certificates in other countries. Documents signed using these signatures are legally valid under the eIDAS regulation (EU 910/2014) and other prominent e-signature laws worldwide. This integration requires organizations to be registered with Evrotrust as a vendor and incurs an additional cost.
Feature Enhancement
Enhancements- New email templates: Zoho Sign now allows administrators to customize additional email templates used to notify recipients of various document activities in their accounts.
Interface Enhancement
Enhancements- Product tour for new users: We’ve introduced an interactive product walkthrough to guide new users through the platform. This feature offers helpful tips that explain the purpose and functionality of each element on the screen, making it easier for users to get started and navigate the product.

Updates- Control measures for the life sciences and healthcare industries (v1.2): The control measures have been extended to cover features such as creating user groups, defining custom roles and permission profiles, and assigning them to individual users in Zoho Sign; merging documents uploaded to Zoho Sign into one or more files within the same envelope or document signature request; setting up custom predefined reasons for visible signatures; and exporting reports and organizational activity history in PDF format, while also encrypting the exported files with a password.
Feature Enhancement
Enhancements- Triggering webhooks based on criteria: Users can now specify trigger criteria to be applied to webhook callback events. Callbacks will only be triggered for events that match the specified criteria. If no criteria are set, callbacks will be triggered for all selected events.
- Support for multiple recipient groups in bulk send: Users can now create CSV files containing role emails and role names based on the signer's role, then import them when adding recipients in bulk. The roles defined in the template will automatically appear in the drop-down menu in the bulk import recipients dialog box, and recipients will be matched with their corresponding roles. This feature allows users to add up to five recipient groups when using templates instead of the previous limit of just one per envelope.
- Grouping for checkbox fields: Users can now group checkbox fields added to documents or templates, allowing them to specify the required number of checkboxes signers must select.

Enhancements- Recipient name filter option in documents view: Users can now choose to display the name of recipients in an additional column in the documents list view. This also enables filtering documents using recipient name.
New Integration
Integrations- Digital signatures via emdha for Saudi Arabia: Organizations based in our Saudi Arabian data center can now get their documents digitally signed with digital signatures issued by emdha, a trust service provider regulated by the Kingdom's Digital Government Authority (DGA) and licensed by the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST). It requires users and signers to enter their national ID or Iqama and perform authentication via the Nafath app to receive the digital signature certificate. Documents signed using this service carry an embedded timestamp and are fully compliant with the Saudi law governing electronic signatures. This integration incurs additional cost, and can be used by both users of Zoho Sign and external signers.
New features
Features- Custom fields: Users can now create dynamic, reusable signer fields customized to their needs within documents. This also allows them to define a variety of properties for the data being collected in these fields, such as field type, validation, and formatting.
- Conditional fields: Senders can now add additional signer fields, as well as remove and manage existing ones, depending on signer inputs in previous fields. This functionality allows them to collect and present data conditionally within documents based on the information entered by signers.
- Formula fields: Senders can now automate field value calculations based on signer inputs in other previous fields. This helps update field values dynamically, reduce calculation errors, and ensure consistent data throughout the document.
Partner-Related Service
New Service- Refer and earn program: Users can now invite others to try Zoho Sign and earn Zoho Wallet credits. For every qualified referral signup, users will instantly receive a $3 Zoho Wallet credit. When the referred individual becomes a paying customer, the user will earn 15% of their subscription fee in Zoho Wallet credits, valid for one year. Each referred individual will also receive $100 in promotional Zoho Wallet credits upon signing up. These credits can be used to purchase new Zoho products, renew subscriptions, and add user licenses.

Updates- More providers and eID procedures in QES via EU eID: Zoho Sign has now added support for the following providers and eID procedures in generating qualified electronic signatures (QES) via eID-based signer authentication - ID Austria via A-Trust and Infocert in Austria. This service incurs additional cost based on the provider/eID procedure chosen. This integration can be used by both users of Zoho Sign and external signers.

Launch in new Datacenter
New Service- Launch of service from Saudi Arabian datacenter: Zoho Sign has launched its services from its new datacenters located in Saudi Arabia. This enables our customers in Saudi Arabia to store and manage their business documents digitally within the kingdom to ensure better compliance with its data privacy laws. Zoho Sign is available both as a standalone subscription and as a part of the Zoho One bundle.
Feature Enhancement
Enhancements- Option to export reports and activity history in a password-encrypted PDF format: Users can now export reports and organization activity history in the PDF format and encrypt the exported files with a password.
Service Enhancement
Enhancements- Debug info for documents: Users can now access debug information for envelopes from the document details page. This includes information such as the datacenter, organization portal ID, request ID, and document ID, which can be used in development and support-related operations for troubleshooting and other purposes.
Updated Integration
Updates- Option to add contact details for eStamping: Administrators can now add additional contact details, such as the name, email, and phone number of the point of contact, along with the mailing address for the delivery of the physical stamp paper generated during transactions.

New Integration
Integrations- NOM 151 certification via PSC World: Users based in our US datacenter can now get their signed documents certified under the Official Mexican Standard (NOM) with a conservation certificate, known as NOM 151. This certificate is issued by PSC World, a certification services provider (PSC) authorized by the Ministry of Economy in Mexico. These certificates denote data preservation and authenticity in the electronic format and ensure that the paperwork is fully compliant under Mexican law. This service incurs additional credits.
Feature Enhancement
Enhancements- Predefined reasons for visible signatures: Administrators can now set up to three custom predefined reasons for visible signatures. Additionally, they can also give users the option to add their own reasons when signing a document, making the process more flexible and personalized.

Feature Enhancements
Enhancements- Webhook security using hash-based message authentication codes (HMAC): Users can now secure webhooks created in Zoho Sign using HMAC-SHA256 (Hash-based Message Authentication Codes with SHA-256 encryption), an industry standard symmetric hashing mechanism. Enabling HMAC signature ensures the authenticity and integrity of the webhook callback. This option can be enabled by accessing the security settings of the preferred webhook on the Zoho Sign web app.
- Support for merging documents within envelopes: Users can now merge documents they upload to Zoho Sign into one or more files within the same envelope or document signature request before proceeding to sign them or send them out for signatures.
- Attachment file size: Signers can now add attachments up to 25MB in size using the attachment field.
- Option to merge multiple documents: Users can now merge multiple documents into one file after uploading them to Zoho Sign. This can be done by simply selecting the desired documents in an envelope and clicking the Merge Document button. However, documents with e-stamps can't be merged.
Module Enhancement
Enhancements- Option to disable life sciences control at the envelope level: Users now have the option to disable controls for life sciences at the envelope level when setting up the signature workflow to send documents out for signatures. This provides a hybrid system where administrators can let their users send specific documents without these controls while they are still enabled at the organization level.

Updates- Control measures for life sciences and healthcare industries (v1.1): The control measures have been extended to cover making corrections to documents and other workflow settings of envelopes that are in progress but have not been approved or signed by any of the recipients.
Updated Integration
Updates- Zoho Sign chatbot in Microsoft Teams: The Zoho Sign app for Microsoft Teams now includes a chatbot for easier usage. Users can conveniently send, sign, and access documents directly from the chatbot in Teams and receive notifications about document activity within their Zoho Sign account as messages from the bot.

Node.js SDK
New- Node.js software development kit (SDK) for development: Developers can now obtain a license to build integrations for Zoho Sign across platforms using our latest SDK for the Node.js runtime environment. Please write to support@zohosign.com for license requests.
Feature Enhancements
Enhancements- Allowing recipients to view activity history and recipient workflow details: Recipients of envelopes can now view the document activity history. This allows them to access the Document History tab in the Document viewer page to view a log of all other recipients who received the envelope, along with their corresponding email addresses, roles, actions performed with timestamps, and other envelope details such as name, name of the sender, organization name, and associated dates.
- Bulk sign using USB and PFX-based signatures: Zoho Sign now enables users to sign documents in bulk using USB tokens or PFX/P12 file-based digital signatures.

New Service- Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES) via eID Easy available in all datacenters: Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES) via eID Easy through EU eID for the residents of the EU and through other aggregated providers in other countries and regions are now available for use to organizations and users based across all our datacenters.

Features- User groups, roles, and permission profiles: Administrators can now create user groups, define custom roles and permission profiles, and assign them to individual users in Zoho Sign. This allows them to align document visibility and access to data with their organization structure for better control and data security.
New Integration
Integrations- Digital signatures via E-CSPs for Kenya: Organizations based in our US datacenter can now get their documents digitally signed with digital signatures issued by Tendaworld, a licensed Electronic Certification Service Provider (E-CSP) accredited by the Communications Authority of Kenya. It requires users to register with Tendaworld to acquire a digital signature certificate. Documents signed use these certificates are legally valid as per the Kenya Information and Communications Act, No. 2. This incurs additional cost.

New Service- Launch of service from Canada datacenters: Zoho Sign has launched its services from datacenters located in Canada. This enables our Canadian customers to store and manage their paperwork digitally within Canada and ensure a higher degree of compliance with the country's data privacy laws. Zoho Sign is served from our Canadian datacenters both as a standalone subscription and as a part of the Zoho One bundle.

Feature Enhancements
Enhancements- Support for additional languages: Zoho Sign now supports four new languages—Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Chinese (Traditional), and Vietnamese—across the app interfaces and the email communication sent to recipients based on sender configurations.
- Control measures for life sciences and healthcare industries (v1.0): Organizations can now enable control measures for their users to operate Zoho Sign in compliance with various regulations and operational frameworks for life sciences and healthcare industries. Previously, this was restricted only to the United States FDA CFR Title 21 Part 11. But it has now been broadened to cover other frameworks such as the European Union Volume 4 Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Annex 11. Administrators can toggle this from Account settings to enable it across their entire organization.

Integrations- Integration with Zoho Billing: This Zoho Sign integration enables users to digitally sign invoices and credit notes before sending them to customers directly from Zoho Billing.
- Integration with Zoho Practice: Zoho Sign now integrates with Zoho Practice, a complete practice management software. This integration allows users to send and track documents directly from the Zoho Practice interface.
Updated Integrations
Updates- eStamping for the state of Maharashtra in India: Organizations based in our Indian datacenters can now pay stamp duty via SignDesk and generate e-stamps (e-SBTR) to be affixed to documents in the state of Maharashtra.
- Support for conditional recipients in the Zoho Writer integration: Users can now use conditions to dynamically assign and enable/disable signers when sending documents configured as fillable templates from Zoho Writer. This allows for enhanced document automation that ensures efficient use of templates.

Features- Automatic reload of Zoho Sign credits add-on: Administrators can now enable automatic reload of the Zoho Sign credits add-on for their account when the credits start to run low. The payment owner of the Zoho Sign organization needs to have their credit card on file in the Zoho Store portal for the automatic reload to occur. Administrators can define the threshold below which the automatic reload occurs and the number of Zoho Sign credits to reload their account with in the Subscription details page.

Integrations- Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES) via itsme: Organizations based in our EU datacenter can now get their documents digitally signed with qualified electronic signatures (QES) issued by itsme, a trusted digital identity provider and a Qualified Trust Service Provider (QTSP) from the Benelux region. Documents signed using this service carry an embedded timestamp and are considered legally equivalent to documents signed by hand under the the eIDAS regulation. This integration incurs additional cost, and can be used by both users of Zoho Sign and external signers.

Updates- Purchase orders in Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory: Users can now digitally sign purchase orders using the Zoho Sign integrations in Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory before sending them to vendors.
Feature Enhancement
Enhancements- Correction of signature requests in progress until signed: Senders can now make corrections to the documents, recipients, recipient fields, and all other workflow configurations in document signature requests that are already in progress if they have not been approved or signed by any recipients.
Launch in new Datacenter
New Service- Digital signatures via TrustFactory available in EU datacenters: Digital signatures via Advanced Electronic Signatures (AES) and Adobe Approved Trust List (AATL) certificates issued by TrustFactory, are now also available for use to organizations in the EU datacenter.
- Control measures for FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance available in all datacenters: Organizations in all datacenters now have the option to enable administrative control measures for their users to operate Zoho Sign in compliance with the US FDA Code of Federal Regulations Title 21 Part 11.

Updated Mobile & macOS Apps
Updates- Zoho Sign for iOS 17, iPadOS 17, and macOS Sonoma: Users can now use interactive widgets on all three platforms to send, sign, and track documents, and also send reminders to signers and approvers, directly from their device Lock Screen and Home Screen. Users can also perform some of these functions when their device is in the StandBy mode. The new TipKit feature assists users by displaying helpful tips and prompts, enabling them to use the right features at the right time.
Feature Enhancements
Enhancements- Enhanced option to move documents to folders: Users can now select one or more documents from the list view on the All Documents page and quickly move them to a desired folder by simply clicking the Move to folder icon at the top of the page.
- Option to reject physically signed and uploaded copies and request signatures again: Users can now reject a physically signed and uploaded document copy if the signer has committed an error or uploaded an unsuitable copy. This would then trigger a fresh document signature request asking the signer to sign the document(s) again. This does not affect the rest of the signature workflow and the request is only triggered to the signer who uploaded the rejected copy.
Change in Edition Features
Changes- Automation credits replaced by complimentary Zoho Sign credits: The monthly automation credits provided to organizations in the Enterprise plan are now replaced with an equivalent amount of complimentary Zoho Sign credits. This helps administrators avoid confusion by standardizing credit consumption across all types of automations. Organizations will now receive 5 complimentary Zoho Sign credits for each automation credit they are eligible to receive. These complimentary Zoho Sign credits will be consumed for all internal automations and integrations with other Zoho apps. Third-party integrations do not consume complimentary Zoho Sign credits and will still require the purchase of add-on Zoho Sign credits from the Zoho Store.

Integrations- Integration with Zendesk Sell: Users can now send documents for signatures with Zoho Sign and monitor their progress directly from Zendesk Sell. Users need to install the Zoho Sign app from the Zendesk marketplace to use this integration.
Updated App Interface
Updates- Revamped Integrations section: Users can now access a revamped Integrations section that presents a comprehensive list of all Zoho Sign integrations, including both Zoho apps and third-party apps and services. Additionally, the section also has a search functionality with the integrations categorised into different tabs based on the type of app or service for improved discovery and ease of navigation and access.
Feature Enhancements
Enhancements- Enhancement to the recipient limit in bulk send: Users can now send documents for signatures to up to 1000 bulk recipients at a time.
- Unknown email domain warnings for received documents: Zoho Sign now provides administrators with an option to warn internal users when they attempt to sign documents originating from unknown domains. Administrators can enable this under the Domains tab in the Account settings section where they can also specify domains for which the warning should not be shown.
- Customization of automatic signer field navigation: Administrators can now customize or disable the automatic navigation that occurs for signers across signer fields in documents. This can be done under the Recipient experience tab in the Account settings section.
- Addition of request parameters to redirected URLs: Zoho Sign now allows administrators to append the request_id and action_id parameters to the redirection URLs when recipients are redirected to custom landing pages. This enhancement enables organizations to identify the visitors redirected to these pages and profile them as the recipients of specific documents sent via Zoho Sign.

Updates- Revamped user interface in Zoho CRM extension: The user interface of the Zoho Sign extension for Zoho CRM has been refreshed to allow users to customize recipient settings and additional workflow configurations in an easier manner when sending documents out for signature. This also introduces the ability to mandate the use of specific digital signature providers for each recipient across different documents and scenarios based on business and legal requirements directly from Zoho CRM.
Feature Enhancements
Enhancements- Option to add signer fields across multiple pages in one go: Users can now place signer fields such as Signature, Initial, and Sign date in the same position across multiple pages of documents in one go.
- Enhancements to custom branding: Addition of brand logo to the Organisation details page now displays the brand logo and the organization name as the favicon and the title of the browser tabs in which the Zoho Sign web app is open.
- Complete usage report for Zoho Sign credits and automation credits: Administrators can now view a more detailed usage history of their organization’s Zoho Sign credits and automation credits. This can be accessed from the Subscription details page, and the report can be generated for custom durations and also exported in the CSV format.
Changes in Edition Features & Trial
Changes- Organization activity history available across all paid editions: Administrators can now access a more detailed history of activity across users within an organization and generate activity reports across all the paid editions of Zoho Sign.
- Support for switching plans within the Zoho Sign free trial: Organizations can now switch between different subscription plans during the 14-day free trial duration in Zoho Sign. This enables them to compare features available in the app across different editions and determine the plan that best suits their business needs. By default, the Enterprise edition will be assigned at the time of trial activation but administrators can modify this to switch to other plans from the Subscription details page.
- Restricting on-demand emailing of documents in Free plan and free trial: The Email Document feature in the Document Details page is no longer available to users in the Free plan. Additionally, users in the free trial are now limited to using this feature to email documents to only one recipient per envelope.
- Option to cancel free trial and switch to the Free plan: Users in the free trial now have the option to cancel their trial and switch to the Free plan at any point during the trial from the Subscription details page.

Integrations- eStamping for India via SignDesk: Organizations based in our Indian datacenter can now make payments of non-judicial stamp duty online across several Indian states to generate e-stamps before affixing them to documents being sent out for signatures. Offered via integration with SignDesk, a leading e-stamping service, this service incurs additional cost.
Updated App Interface
Updates- User assistance via contextual display of knowledge base articles: Users can now access relevant help documentation and articles from the Zoho Sign knowledge base based on their current page within the Zoho Sign web app by clicking the help icon at the bottom right corner.
- Message board for announcements: Users can now receive announcements and important updates sent by the Zoho Sign team directly on the web app through a new message board. Users can access this by clicking the announcements icon at the top of their screens and go through the messages to learn about the latest features, enhancements, integrations, and other updates.
Feature Enhancements
Enhancements- List view for expired documents: Users can now view a list of all documents in the Expired state from the Documents tab in the left navigation panel.
- Quick action icons in the list view for in-progress documents: Users can now select one or more documents from the list view for in-progress documents and quickly perform actions like recalling them or extending their deadlines by clicking on the respective icons at the top of the page.
- Option to view the template or SignForm used in creating document signature requests: Users can now view the templates or SignForms used for the creation of document signature requests under dedicated columns of the list view in the Documents tab. Clicking on the respective column entries will take them to the associated template or SignForm.

New Integrations
Integrations- Integration with OpenAI Platform via Zia: Zoho Sign now integrates with the OpenAI platform to make use of the generative AI capabilities of ChatGPT within the app. Facilitated by Zia, our AI-powered assistant, users can choose to share data from their documents in Zoho Sign with ChatGPT to generate relevant responses suitable for scenarios such as document summarization.
- Integration with Zoho Directory: Zoho Sign now integrates with Zoho Directory, Zoho's identity and access management platform. This integration enables administrators to add users to Zoho Sign and manage their access directly from Zoho Directory, facilitated by the Zoho single sign-on.
Feature Enhancements
Enhancements- Scheduled sending of document signature requests: Users can now schedule documents to be sent for signatures at a later time in Zoho Sign. This allows users to specify the time at which the signature workflow triggers its documents to be delivered to the first recipient and comes in handy when requesting signatures or approvals from recipients residing in other time zones.
- Support for merging templates: Users can now merge up to 10 Zoho Sign templates into a single document signature request to send them all out at once. Furthermore, users can now add documents to ad hoc document signature requests also from templates, in addition to local device and cloud storage, before sending them out.
- Templates import and export: Users can now export Zoho Sign templates to their local device storage as ZIP files and import them back into Zoho Sign. The imported ZIP file must be in the same format as it was when the respective template was exported.
- Prefill fields in all document signature requests: Users can now add prefill fields to all documents before sending them out for signatures. These fields allow senders to prefill data that they already have onto documents before initiating signature workflows. Prefill data can be fetched along with the rest of the signer field data upon document completion.
- Option to add documents to folders when using templates: Users can now choose a folder to add the generated documents to when document signature requests are triggered using templates. A default folder to save documents to can be set for each template but this can be overridden to choose a different folder at the time of using the template.
- Option to print documents directly from Zoho Sign: Users can now conveniently print documents directly from the Zoho Sign app without needing to download them. This action can be performed using the Print option from both the Document Details and the Document Viewer pages.
- Enhancement to save the changes made to workflows and request settings in draft: Users can now save the changes made to sign workflow, recipient settings, and other configurations prior to field mapping when a document signature request is still in the draft stage. The saved document signature request can then be modified and submitted for signature collection anytime later.

Integrations- Dynamic Knowledge-based authentication (KBA) via IDology: Organizations based in our US datacenter can now verify the identity of document recipients at the time of signing or approval using dynamic knowledge-based authentication. Zoho Sign has partnered with IDology, a global identity provider, to offer this service. This service incurs additional cost and can be used by both users of Zoho Sign and external signers.
- Qualified Electronic Signatures for Switzerland and the EU via Swisscom: Organizations based in our EU datacenter can now get their documents digitally signed with qualified electronic signatures (QES) issued by Swisscom Trust Services, an authorized Qualified Trust Service Provider (QTSP) in both Switzerland and the European Union. Documents signed using this service carry an embedded timestamp and are considered legally equivalent to documents signed by hand under the ZertES Swiss Federal law and the eIDAS regulation. This integration incurs additional cost, and can be used by both users of Zoho Sign and external signers.
Feature Enhancement
Enhancements- Addition of options in bulk to the Dropdown signer field: Users can now add multiple options in bulk for the Dropdown signer field. This enables the addition of up to 100 options separated by commas to a field at a time.
License-related Service
New Service- Support for multiple organisations/portals: Users can now create or be a part of multiple organizations or portals in Zoho Sign using the same email address or Zoho account. Profiles maintained across different portals would each require a separate user license under the respective subscription plan.

Features- Embedded sending via API: Users can now embed Zoho Sign's e-signature workflow creation within their website and application interface via REST APIs to send documents for signing.
New Integration
Integrations- Integration with Freshsales: Users can now get their sales documents and contracts signed directly from Freshsales, a popular CRM and sales force automation solution. Users need to install the Zoho Sign app from the Freshworks marketplace to use this integration.

Enhancements- Support for additional languages: Zoho Sign now supports two new languages—Arabic and Hebrew in their right-to-left orientations—across the app interfaces and the email communication sent to recipients based on sender configurations.
- Customization of date format in signer fields: Users can now specify custom date formats for the Sign Date and Date fields added to documents.
- Additional email templates available for customization: Zoho Sign now allows administrators to customize several more email templates that are used to notify recipients for the various document activity that take place in their account.

- User certificate renewal for third-party digital signature providers: Administrators can now renew expired digital signature certificates issued by third-party digital signature providers to the associated users from their integration pages. Users are required to complete the renewal process with the respective providers separately, if any.
Font Enhancement
Enhancements- New font for signer field data in documents: Zoho Sign now supports the Open Sans font in the Document Viewer screen for signer fields. Users can set this font for text-based fields from the formatting options available.

Features- Control measures for FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance in the US: Organizations based in our US datacenter can now enable control measures for their users to operate Zoho Sign in compliance with the United States Food and Drug Administration's Code of Federal Regulations Title 21 Part 11. Administrators can toggle this from Account settings to enable it across their entire organization. This restricts the usage of features and functions not permitted as per the regulations, and enforces several administrative controls, security measures, procedures, and defaults such as credentialing, explicit consent, visible signatures, enhanced audit trails, and reports at the level of each individual signature or signatory.
New Integration
Integrations- Advanced Electronic Signatures (AES) for South Africa: Organizations based in our US datacenter can digitally sign documents using Advanced Electronic Signatures (AES) or Adobe Approved Trust List (AATL) certificates issued by TrustFactory, a trust service provider accredited by the South African Accreditation Authority (SAAA). This integration can only be enabled for and used by users who have a Zoho account and are part of a Zoho Sign organization. It requires users to register with TrustFactory to obtain the AES or AATL certificate. Documents signed use these certificates are legally valid as per the South African Electronic Communications and Transactions (ECT) Act. This incurs additional cost.

Enhancements- Sign with USB token DSC via browsers on Windows: Users can now digitally sign documents with their USB token-based digital signatures directly from their web browsers on Windows devices. Administrators can enable this for their organizations from the Integrations section. This still requires the Zoho Sign USB Signer app to be installed on the device from the Microsoft Store to access the connected USB tokens and other local certificates, but the app need not be launched when signing documents from browsers.

Integrations- Recipient authentication for the European Union via EU eID: Organizations based in our EU datacenter can now verify the identity of document recipients at the time of signing or approval using eID-based authentication. This integration allows residents of the European Union to authenticate themselves through one of the supported European ID or eID procedures to access the document(s) sent to them. Zoho Sign has partnered with Signicat, a leading digital identity provider in Europe, to offer this service. This service incurs additional cost based on the eID procedure chosen. This integration can be used by both users of Zoho Sign and external signers. The eID procedures presently supported are National ID in Belgium (.beID) and Germany (Personalausweis), and iDIN in Netherlands.
- Integration with Microsoft Power Automate: Zoho Sign is now available on Microsoft Power Automate, a popular app part of the Microsoft Power Platform. This allows users to streamline business processes by connecting Zoho Sign with 600+ applications using low-code, automation workflows.
- Integration with Pipedrive: Users can now get their sales paperwork and contracts signed using dynamic and seamless e-sign workflows directly from their Pipedrive sales hub. Users need to install the Zoho Sign app from the Pipedrive marketplace to use this integration.

Users can choose the option to deliver document signature requests via SMS for each recipient when setting up a sign workflow and enter the recipients' phone number(s). Enhancements- Organization activity reports: Administrators can now view a more detailed history of activity across users within a Zoho Sign organization. In addition to sender and recipient activity in documents, many other administrative actions such as addition and removal of users, creation of templates and SignForms, sharing of documents and templates, changes to contacts, folders, and document types, and changes to document signature requests and some general settings and account configurations are now audited within Zoho Sign. These activities can be monitored by administrators by visiting Reports >> Activity log from the Zoho Sign dashboard.
- Export option for signer field data from signed documents sent using bulk send: In the case where copies of documents have been sent to many recipients using bulk send, users can now export the document field data, entered by signers at the time of signing, in a CSV file. Users can access this option by visiting Documents >> Sent >> Bulk send and opening the desired bulk send request.
- Enhanced options for downloading and forwarding documents: Users now have multiple options to choose from when downloading and forwarding documents from Zoho Sign. Users may choose to download and forward just the documents in a request (in a ZIP file if more than one), or just the completion certificate, or all of them merged into a single PDF file. In the case of the merged PDF file, the file will only contain the common digital signature certificate issued to Zoho Sign and the signatures of the individual signers will be captured merely as visible signatures.
- Enhancements to setting up webhooks: Users now have the option to send a sample payload to the callback URL when setting up a webhook. This can be used to test the payload delivery and verify the webhook's configuration and connectivity.
Launch in new Datacenter
New Service- Launch of service from Japanese datacenters: Zoho Sign launches its services from our datacenters in Japan. Previously, Japanese customers were served from our US datacenters. Now, the ability to store and manage their paperwork digitally within Japan will help them comply better with the strict domestic security requirements. The service in the Japanese datacenters also includes digital document timestamping via SEIKO Cyber Time, an officially certified timestamping authority (TSA) in Japan. Zoho Sign is served from our Japanese datacenters both as a standalone subscription and as a part of the Zoho One bundle.

Integrations- Payment integration with Zoho Checkout: Zoho Sign now integrates with Zoho Checkout to enable users to collect signatures in documents and an associated payment in the same workflow. This allows them to collect a payment at the same time as signatures and helps organizations do business more efficiently.
- Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES) for the European Union via EU eID: Organizations based in our EU datacenter now have more options and providers to choose from to sign their documents with QES. New Service- Support for migration to other datacenters: Zoho Sign now supports migration of organizations/portals from one datacenter to another. Whenever users create a Zoho/Zoho Sign account, all their information is stored in one of our datacenters which is either automatically assigned to them based on their location or chosen by them. All user data stored in a datacenter is restricted from being moved to other geographical locations. However, due to evolving regional regulations and geopolitical developments, scenarios may arise where users will want to migrate their accounts and data from one datacenter to another. Updates- Improvements to the Zoho Writer integration: Our integration with Zoho Writer now provides users with additional options when setting up Sign templates. In addition to being able to send the documents out for signatures, users can also self-sign them now and track the signing progress for documents sent out by simply clicking on the document status pane. Users also have the options to add a private message and enable authentication for recipients directly from Writer when setting up a sign workflow now. Updates- Zoho Writer editor integration via Zoho WorkDrive: Users can now edit documents directly from Zoho Sign while building sign workflows, if the documents have been imported from Zoho WorkDrive and their file format is supported by Zoho Writer. Updates- Integration with the Google Docs editor: Users can now edit documents supported by the Google Docs editor directly from Zoho Sign when building sign workflows. Once enabled, every time a supported document is opened with or imported into Zoho Sign from Google Drive, users can edit them using the Google Docs editor and sync the updated files with the associated sign workflow to send them out for signatures.

New- Zoho Sign USB Signer app: The USB Signer app for Microsoft Windows enables users to digitally sign documents using a USB token for digital signature (DSC). Users can, therefore, sign documents using a digital signature certificate that is self-acquired from a regional certificate authority or identity provider in the form of a physical USB device. This type of signing is also known as advanced electronic signatures (AeS) in some legal contexts. The USB Signer app can be downloaded on devices running Windows 10 or later from the Microsoft Store.

Features- Print and sign: Signers can now download the documents sent to them for signature, sign them physically, and then upload a scan of the signed paper documents back onto Zoho Sign to complete the digital signature process. Zoho Sign will attach its digital signature certificate onto the scanned copy that was uploaded and then proceed with the sign workflow as defined by the sender. Alternatively, senders may also upload a scan of the signed paper documents they receive from signers, physically or via fax, on behalf of the signer and mark their signing activity as completed to advance the workflow onto the next recipient.
Feature Enhancements
Enhancements- Field properties in Document Viewer: We have introduced new properties that can be set for signer fields in the Document Viewer screen - Resizable, Fixed width, Fixed height, and Character limit. Users can now duplicate a custom text field to create multiple occurrences of it by simply selecting it and then copy-pasting it onto the document and repositioning it wherever it needs to appear again. All the occurrences of the field will share properties and have the same data. Alternatively, users can add multiple text fields and set a common data label to make them share properties and data. Once a signer inputs the data in the first occurrence of a duplicated field, it is automatically filled in the subsequent occurrences.
- Data merge in Bulk send: Users can now merge recipient data onto custom text fields in documents when sending them for signatures using the bulk send feature. The data for the custom text field must be included in the bulk recipients CSV file in additional columns with the columns carrying the same headers as the respective fields' data labels. Similarly, a private note can also be added for each recipient by including the data in a column titled 'private_notes' in the CSV file.

Enhancements- Limiting SignForm responses: Users can now disable duplicate responses from the same email address in SignForms. When disabled, anybody trying access a SignForm document by entering an email address already used in a response made in the last 7 days, will, by default, be asked to contact the form owner. However, users also have an option to allow signers to resume signing the SignForm document if their previous response was incomplete.
Support-related Service
New Service- On-demand bulk backup to cloud: Users can now back up all their completed documents in bulk to one of the integrated cloud storage providers on-demand. This saves a copy of all the completed documents belonging to their organization to the location specified in their cloud storage and sends an email notification containing a summary of the backup activity once it is complete. Due to its potential to create a greater load on our servers, this feature is presently activated for organizations only at the request of their administrators. Updated Integration
Updates- Client estimate signing in Zoho Finance: Users can now send estimates that can be accepted and signed by clients directly from the emails they receive. This enables clients without client portal access to accept and sign estimates, while clients with client portal access no longer need to sign in to do so. Estimates accepted and signed this way can still be accessed by clients from their client portal at a later time.
- Tighter integration with Zoho Writer: A tightly integrated interface now allows for neat field addition and easy workflow configuration. Users can set signer vernacular, format the email message, add attachments to the documents being sent for signatures, save workflow configurations for repeated jobs, and recall the documents that have already been sent out. Additionally, the workflows can also be configured to automatically save the signed documents back to Zoho WorkDrive and execute custom functions upon completion.

Additionally, for sign workflows triggered from custom modules, the recipient email field is auto-filled if the associated record contains email address data.
Feature Enhancements
Enhancements- Complete customization of email templates: For the emails being sent from Zoho Sign to signers and other recipients, users now have the capability to edit the entire template formats in HTML and customize them to suit their organization's branding and style guidelines. However, placeholder tags for mandatory information may only be re-positioned and cannot be omitted.
- Spouse signing: Users can now add the same email address twice in a sign workflow as two separate recipients provided the name entered in each instance is different. This facilitates the inclusion of a signer's spouse as a supporting signatory without having to send the paperwork to two separate email addresses.
- API quick setup and testing: Users can now quickly set up an API client, generate OAuth access tokens, and obtain JSON formats to send document templates for signatures, directly from the Zoho Sign web app interface for testing and deploying integrations with third-party apps and websites. Users can send up to 50 test documents per month by passing 'testing=true' as a parameter in API calls without having to purchase API credits.
