How do I share a channel's link with other users?
The Channel Permalink enables one to share a channel's link. This permalink is unique to each channel and it can be used as a reference link or as a means to join the channel.
To copy the permalink, go to Actions -> Channel Permalink
Clicking the permalink will allow the user to join the channel or continue in the channel if they are already a part of it. The permalink is also structured according to channel levels.
- Any org user who accesses an organization channel permalink will be able to join the channel as organization channels are open to everyone in the org.
- Only team members will be able to join through a team channel's permalink.
- External users will be able to join through an external channel's permalink provided they were invited to the channel.
