Working with Cron Functions

Build a web news application that automatically fetches news from a third-party service periodically using Catalyst Cron, a Cron Function, and an Advanced I/O Function.

Create a Project

Let's create a Catalyst project from the Catalyst console. 

  1. Log in to the Catalyst console and click Create a new Project.
  2. Enter the project's name as "NewsApp" in the pop-up window. 
  3. Click Create.

Your project will be created. You can open the project by clicking Access Project.
