Tell us a bit about your organisation.
Tabletop Records is a two-year-old independent record label based near Raleigh, NC. We have a multi-genre indie roster currently featuring artists from the US, Canada, Australia, and Europe. Our primary focus is artist development and promotion with a strong emphasis on networking and relationship building.
How would you describe your role?
I am the CEO of the company but am also responsible for much of the marketing and promotions work.
How important is social media marketing as part of your marketing strategy?
The ability to easily manage and maintain our social media footprint is paramount to our growing influence and future success in the music industry. Quickly connecting with others to share news and information about our company and artists is one of the greatest benefits of utilizing social media in our business model. Early on, we decided to ensure that our company would maximize the use of social media in addition to other marketing strategies.
Why did you choose Zoho Social? Which are some of the other tools you considered?
We researched and tried several different social media management tools prior to choosing Zoho Social including Infusionsoft, Hootsuite, and Tweetdeck. We saw an ad for Zoho Social and watched several introductory videos on your main site. We scheduled and attended a live demo of your product and immediately signed on. We have been using Zoho Social for over a year now and are still extremely pleased with the tool.
What did you find the most useful about Zoho Social?
There are so many amazing features available in Zoho Social that it is difficult to list any as "most useful". The user interface is intuitive and very reliable. We can continually bring fresh and interesting content to our followers, (as well as the followers of our artists), with just a few clicks. The ability to schedule single or recurring posts for future dates and times is wonderful! We also enjoy being able to target on which platforms the posts will appear. Then there is the reporting functionality built into your product. The analytics gathered concerning impression totals of each post, demographics of our followers, and frequently engaged users have proven to be invaluable as we build contact strategies for our artists and label. Zoho Social literally has everything that we need to effectively manage our social media engine.
What are the key challenges that Zoho Social helps you deal with?
Time management would be the number one challenge Zoho Social helps deal with. I cannot imagine the time it would take to continually engage our social media base without your product. As it stands, I simply create all of our recurring ads in a few minutes and schedule them in Zoho for the upcoming weeks. I still have the ability to post spontaneously and use your mobile app to manage and schedule posts when away from the computer. In my opinion, you have created a "must have" solution for any business that is serious about maintaining a fresh and consistent social media presence.
