We’ve heard you, we’ve delivered, and now it’s time for the big reveal — Zoho Social now supports Facebook Groups for you to publish and schedule posts right from your publishing dashboard!

There’s no doubt on how Facebook Groups can be used as a great platform to connect and talk to people with shared interests. Even better if you’re running or part of a Facebook Group for a business! There’s plenty of opportunity to build a community, position your brand, find new prospects, and more with the rising popularity of Facebook Groups. Also, with the steady decline of organic post reach on Facebook – marketers have turned to Facebook Groups to build unique communities for their Facebook Pages and engage in authentic conversations.

If you haven’t already created a Facebook Group, you can always consider creating one if you already have a strong follower-base and/or you’re looking to build a dedicated community for your connect with a target audience. Here’s all you need to do:

1. Create a group Click the arrow in the top right of Facebook and select the option Your Groups and then click Create Group.

2. Fix the rules You can then choose to customize the privacy options for your Facebook Group, set up post approvals to decide what posts appear in your group.

3. Invite and engage – You can invite members and establish clear rules and engage with your audience!

4. Track engagement – You can always check your engagement stats from Group Insights.

As a Facebook Group Admin, you can also link any Group to your Page, so your followers can be posted on what you’re interested in. You can also join a group you’re interested in, depending on the group’s privacy settings.

So, what does this mean for you as a Zoho Social user?

1. Connect and Authorize a Facebook Group to your Brand

If you’re a Facebook Group Admin, you can go ahead and connect a Facebook group that is associated with your profile and authorize Zoho Social to manage it for you.

2. Publish and Schedule away!

Connect with like-minded people on your Facebook Group by publishing and scheduling posts from the New Post box! You can choose to repeat important posts and announcements that you may want to reinforce to your audience once in a week or month. To maintain a consistent posting schedule for your brand community, you can also set up unique publishing queues or bulk-schedule a large volume of posts in advance to reach your audience on a preferred date and time.

When you post to a Faceboook Group, Zoho Social will publish the post on behalf of the Facebook profile you’ve connected.
