  • What is Zoho Remotely?

    Zoho Remotely is a suite of cloud applications that helps you communicate and collaborate with teams, keep track of work, and provide remote assistance to your customers anywhere in the world.

  • Why did Zoho launch Remotely as a free to use toolkit?

    We launched Zoho Remotely in the circumstances surrounding the outbreak of the Covid19 pandemic to help teams move to remote work. Remotely was one of many initiatives from Zoho to help businesses, especially small and medium-sized businesses, cope with the sudden requirement to work remotely.

    We offered it free of cost to help organizations maintain business continuity. We wanted to save businesses the sudden cost implications of going remote. We wanted to offer it initially for a period of three months but extended it for eight months when we realized the world was still taking some time to to cope with the newly emerged conditions.

  • What are the applications available in Zoho Remotely?

    We initially launched Remotely with 11 applications - Cliq, Meeting, ShowTime, WorkDrive, Writer, Sheet, Show, Projects, Sprints, Lens and Assist.

    In the paid versions of the toolkit post December 1, 2020, Remotely will consist of 10 applications - Cliq, Connect, Meeting, WorkDrive, Sprints, Writer, Sheet, Show, Lens and Assist.

    Projects and ShowTime which were offered for free for trial will not be a part of Zoho Remotely's paid editions. These will also not be available from December 1, 2020.

  • What are the tools available for task/project management in Remotely?

    Even though Projects is leaving Zoho Remotely, the toolkit will continue to feature Zoho Sprints, which is our project management service for teams that use Agile methodology. The full-featured edition of Sprints will be available in Remotely Professional edition. Other than this, we are also including Zoho Connect from December 1, 2020. Teams can use the taskboard in the application to plan and execute simple projects. It also includes a kanban view.

  • We have been using Zoho Projects and Zoho ShowTime as a part of Remotely. What are our options to continue using them?

    As of December 1st 2020, Zoho Projects and Zoho ShowTime will no longer be a part of Remotely.  But fret not. None of your data will be lost. Your Projects and ShowTime portal be downgraded to the Free plan tiers. If you wish to continue to use the full featured version of Projects and/or ShowTime, you can send in a request by filling in this form (for Zoho Projects) or this form (for Zoho ShowTime). We will help you get on board the best plan for your requirements.
