Shopify DNS Manager

If your domain is hosted with Shopify DNS Manager, follow the steps below to add a CNAME and verify the domain.

Add CNAME Records for Verification

If your domain is hosted with Shopify DNS Manager, follow the below instructions to add a CNAME and verify the domain.

  1. Login to your Shopify Admin account.
  2. Go to Online Store and select the Domains option.
  3. Locate the relevant domain and click Manage.
  4. In the Emails section, select Use third-party hosting service.
  5. Select Zoho Mail from the available options.

  6. Enter the zb****** code generated in Zoho, and click Save.
  7. The relevant CNAME and MX Records will get generated automatically.

After you have saved these settings, check if the CNAME in Shopify matches with zmverify.zoho.com. Since your CNAME depends on the region where your Zoho Mail account is set up, it varies between accounts.

If the CNAME does not match with the records in your Shopify account, click Edit DNS Settings and enter the CNAME as mentioned above.

Your CNAME Records will now be added successfully. However, you might have to wait for a while for the changes to take effect in the DNS Servers. After an hour or two, log into your Zoho Mail Control Panel and click Verify. After your domain is verified, you can start creating and adding the users.
