Understand email notifications in customer portal
Email notifications help the admin of the customer portal communicate with users of the portal. There are four customizations that can be done to email notifications : From and Reply To email address, Invitation template, and Reset password template.
The From and Reply To email address is the default email address of the customer portal. All emails communications of the customer portal that are sent the users will be from this email. Initially, the email address of the admin is automatically configured as the From and Reply to address. But this can be changed to other email address upon verification.
The Invitation template is the format of the email that is sent to invite the users to the customer portal. Click here to learn more about invitation template.
