Permission privileges in Live video feed
Permission privileges in live video feed are a set of predefined role-based privileges that an admin can select from and allow members to view. Only an admin has access to these set of permissions. An admin can apply more than one permission from the available set of permissions.
Here are the viewing permission available in live video feed.
- All employees - All the members of the organization can view the live video feed.
- Organisation admins - All the admins in an organization can view the live video feed.
- Department members - All department members can view the live video feed.
- Immediate Lead - Only your Immediate lead can view your live video feed (Immediate Lead is the person you report to).
- Department head - The department head can view the live video feed.
Where is the permission set for live video feed view and how to enable it?
- Navigate to the admin panel.
- Select configurations present on the organization panel.
- Select Remote Work from the modules tab.
- You can see a set of permissions under the configuration and settings of the remote work module.
- You can choose to enable more than one permission from the available permissions.
- Then save to update your module settings.
Note
It is possible that a user can be a part of more than one permission set, say an employee is both an Immediate lead and the department head of an organization, when you choose to enable live feed for the department head and disable it for the immediate lead then the department head who is also the immediate lead, in this case, will still be able to view the live video feed despite one of the permission preventing him from viewing the feed. In essence even if one of the options from the permission set allows you to view the live feed, you can view those users live video feed.
