Why can’t I enable inventory tracking for an item in my Zoho Books organization?

You can enable inventory tracking in your organization only if you’re on the Professional or higher subscription plans of Zoho Books. Visit our pricing page to check the features available in your current plan.

If you’ve already subscribed to the required plan and still unable to track inventory for your items, you should integrate your Zoho Books organization with Zoho Inventory. To do this:

  • Go to Settings.
  • Select Zoho Apps under Integrations & Marketplace.
  • Click Try Now next to Zoho Inventory.
  • In the following page, click Join next to the required Zoho Books organization.

Your Zoho Books organization will now be integrated with Zoho Inventory. This integration will enable inventory tracking in your Zoho Books organization. To check this:

  • Go to Settings.
  • Select Items under Items.

You can see that the inventory tracking option will be enabled. You can now track inventory for the items you create in Zoho Books.
