Import Agents 

When integrating Zoho Voice with other Zoho products like Zoho One, Zoho CRM, Zoho Recruit, Zoho Desk, Zoho Bigin or ServiceDesk Plus On-Demand, you can import already existing agents from those application into Zoho Voice.

This allows you to reuse user data without manually recreating profiles and assigning roles from scratch. This helps maintain consistency across applications, reduce setup time, and ensures your agents are call-ready right from the start.

The process for importing agents varies based on the Zoho in-house product that you are integrating with and integration type - Zoho Voice offers two types: native and telephony integration.


Importing agents in Native integration 

  • With native integration, you can import agents from other Zoho applications (Zoho CRM, Zoho Desk, Zoho Recruit, Zoho Bigin, or ServiceDesk Plus On-Demand). and map them to any user role in Zoho Voice.
  • For example, an admin in Zoho CRM can be imported and assigned the role of supervisor in Zoho Voice. This flexible role-mapping ensures users are aligned with your team structure in Zoho Voice.
     

    Note

    The super admin must be the same user in both Zoho Voice and the integrated application.

Importing agents in Telephony integration 

  • With telephony integration, users are imported as Telephony Agents. You can configure Zoho Voice as your cloud PBX service in Zoho Telephony, and import users from supported Zoho applications (Zoho One, Zoho CRM, Zoho Desk, Zoho Recruit, Zoho Bigin, or ServiceDesk Plus On-Demand).
  • For one admin license, you will receive 10 free telephony agents.
     

    Note

    The option to avail 10 telephony agents is available only in the Enterprise edition (Standard and Contact Center plans).
