Zoho for Startups - Terms and Conditions

Zoho for Startups Program

Zoho for Startups is a program designed to empower startups by providing them access to Zoho's suite of online business productivity and collaboration software ("Zoho Services") through non-tansferrable, not-redeemable-for-cash wallet credits ("Credits"). Using the Credits, you can explore and leverage Zoho's offerings and make informed decisions that best support your business growth and operations.

Eligibility

1. Applying for the Zoho for Startups Program and the availing of Credits is limited to a single instance. You are not eligible to participate in the Zoho for Startups Program and avail Credits if you have already received Credits through the Zoho for Startups Program or through other programs like Zoho for Non-Profits and Zoho for MSME, regardless of whether you used the Credits you obtained.
2. You are not eligible to participate in the Zoho for Startups Program if you are an existing or former user of Zoho Services.

Credits

Upon fulfilment of the eligibility criteria and successful verification, you will be eligible to receive Credits ("Stage I Credits"). You can use the Credits to purchase individual Zoho Services, Zoho suite of products, upgrades, certain add-ons, and renewal of monthly plans.

In the event you host your domain with Zoho, you will be eligible for additional Credits ("Stage II Credits") provided, your domain hosting is setup within 15 days from the date of receipt of Stage I Credits.

Limitations on the Use of Credits

The following limitations are applicable to your use of Credits:

1. The Credits will be valid for a period of 360 days from the date of issue of Stage I Credits.
2. You cannot use the Credits to purchase subscriptions to the following Zoho Services: Zoho Voice, Zoho Start, Zoho Sign API credits plan, Zoho Campaigns Pay-as-you-go edition, Zoho Domains, Zoho Payments, and Zoho Backstage.
3. You cannot use the credits to purchase subscriptions to Qntrl, Vikra, or TrainerCentral.
4. You cannot use the Credits to purchase subscriptions to products offered by Zoho under its ManageEngine division.
5. Credits cannot be used to purchase premium or enterprise support plans, onboarding, training and other such services provided by Zoho.
6. Credits cannot be used to purchase in-app subscriptions to Zoho Services via the App Store or Play Store or to purchase third-party applications within Zoho Services.
7. In addition to the above limitations, you cannot use Stage II Credits to purchase subscriptions to any product from the Zoho Workplace suite.
8. Any unused Credits will automatically expire upon expiration of the validity of the Credits.
9. Credits provided under Zoho for Startups Program are non-refundable and cannot be reinstated once used to purchase a subscription, regardless of whether the subscription is cancelled, the number of licenses purchased is reduced, or the subscription edition is downgraded.
10. If you delete your Zoho account, any unused Credits will become inaccessible and such Credits cannot be reinstated, even if you create a new Zoho account using the same email address you used for the previous Zoho account.
11. Zoho's Refund Policy does not apply for subscriptions purchased using the Credits.

Personal Information and Privacy

Zoho will collect information about you and your organization such as your name, contact information, the name of your organization, and in certain cases, documents to verify your eligibility. Zoho will process such information in accordance with Parts I and III of our Privacy Policy.

Violation

You are prohibited from using the Credits in violation of these Terms. In the event Zoho suspects or detects: (i) any misuse of Credits; (ii) non-compliance with these Terms; (ii) non-compliance with Zoho's Terms of Service or applicable Service-Specific Terms; (iv) that you have provided false or misleading information at any time during sign-up, verification or subsequently; or (iv) that you are otherwise ineligible to participate in the Zoho for Startups program; Zoho reserves the right to take appropriate actions, including forfeiture of the Credits made available to you

Zoho reserves the right to disqualify you from participating in other Zoho programs including but not limited to Zoho for Non-Profits and Zoho for MSME if we terminate your participation in Zoho for Startups in accordance with this section

Limitation of Liability

Zoho shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use or inability to use the Credits, even if Zoho has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You are solely responsible for any claims from third parties, including tax authorities, arising from your use of the Credits.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Any dispute or lawsuit arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be governed by the governing law (without regard to choice or conflicts of law rules), and be settled and adjudicated by the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts provided here.

Modifications to Zoho for Startups

Zoho may modify the Program (including the value of Credits and services against which credits can be redeemed), suspend the Program, or end the Program at any time without any prior notice or liability to you. Modifications to the Program will not affect Credits already issued.

Modification of these Terms

Zoho reserves the right to modify the terms of this Agreement. Modifications to the terms of this Agreement are effective upon your use of Credits subsequent to publication of the revised terms or notification of such modification.
