Scheduled Maintenance on Aug 31, 2013

Zoho now has more than 8 million registered users, and we are growing at a very healthy rate. Keeping pace with this growth means we need to scale up our infrastructure periodically. We are planning one such infrastructure upgrade in our primary data center on Saturday, Aug 31, 2013 between 10 am PDT and 10 pm PDT. We have planned it in such a way that there is a minimal disruption of service during the scheduled maintenance period.

The below service will have an outage during the whole period:

  • Zoho Search – search fields within Zoho’s services (except Zoho CRM where search will work)

The below Zoho services will have an outage for a few minutes during the initial and end phases of the above specified period:

  • Site24x7
  • Zoho Reports
  • Zoho Sheet

For all other Zoho services, including our APIs, there may be intermittent disruptions of service for a few minutes, before and after the maintenance window. Some features in some Zoho services will be affected, details of which are posted here. Otherwise, we expect things to be normal, as the Zoho services will get served from our secondary data center during the whole specified time period.

We will provide updates in this blog post, through out the scheduled maintenance period.
