The following changes are available in the latest version (Version 1.2.48) of the FSM mobile (iOS) app:

  • Minimum OS support increased to iOS 13.

  • UI changes have been made to the Work Orders and Service Appointments List pages.

  • Illustrations added to all empty state pages.

  • Work Orders and Estimates can now be created from the Related List tab of Contacts and Companies Details page.

  • While editing a lookup field, when you return to the Edit page from the Search page, the lookup field is highlighted.

  • The error message for subscription suspension has been changed.

Bug-Fixes
  • When the calendar view is hidden, the All Service Appointments list view is not shown. This issue has been fixed. Also, in the calendar view, the calendar carousal is hidden when the user scrolls down.

  • When None is selected in a picklist, mandatory field error is not shown. This issue has been fixed.

  • Besides the email addresses associated with the contact or company, the email address entered by the user in the Email field of the estimate will also be now listed in the Send To field of Send Estimate overlay.

  • The following new features are available in the latest version (Version 1.5.01) of the FSM mobile (Android) app:

    • A new section on owner details has been added to the Overview tab of the Work Order Details and Service Appointment Details pages.                                                      

    • A new section Invoice Info has been added to the Overview tab of Contacts, Companies, and Services And Parts pages.

    • When you edit the Service Line Items or Part Line Items from the Service And Parts tab of Work Order Details or Service Appointment Details page, the respective section will be highlighted in the Edit Work Order or Edit Service Appointment page.

  • Unable to edit an user as the Edit User form keeps loading. This issue has been fixed.

  • When you edit an estimate with an Expiry Date, the date is not saved. This issue has been fixed.

We have overhauled the Estimate flow to expand its purview. The major changes are:

  • You can now Resend an estimate with or without changes. You can also clone an estimate and resend it.

  • A new Emails tab will list the details of the emails sent for an estimate.

  • Different estimate email statuses to help you identify the state of the estimate email.

  • In the Trips tab of the Service Appointment Details screen, incorrect unit shown for the total distance travelled for trips. This issue has been fixed.

  • Icons added to dropdowns in entries listed under the Time Sheets tab and Service Tasks tab in Service Appointment Details screen.

  • User is not able to access the appointment or work order if user does not have permission to view the contact or company added in the appointment or work order. This issue has been fixed.

  • The timer is shown in the Overview tab of the Service Appointment Details screen even after you complete work for the appointment. This issue has been fixed.

  • When you edit the associated service of a Part Line Item, instead of the Part Line Item getting updated, a new Part Line Item gets added. This issue has been fixed.

  • Text formatting issues in the header sections of the Service Report Preview screen, and Profile screen has been fixed.

  • In the Service Tasks tab of the Work Order Details screen, you can now view the appointment associated with a service task. Click on the icon next to the service task to view the associated appointments.

  • You can now see the thumbnails of the attachments added in Notes.

  • Last logged in time will now be shown in the Settings page.

  • When a workflow is created with a trigger criteria as SA Status is Completed and the associated custom function fetches the End Time of the timesheet, it fails to execute successfully because at the time when the status of the service appointment changes to Completed, the End Time of a timesheet is not available. This issue has been fixed now. The rule will now be triggered only after the End Time is updated in the service appointment module.
  • The following changes are available in the latest version (Version 1.4.40) of the FSM mobile (Android) app:

    • Issues in work order layout form have been fixed.

    • The aggregate field values are not calculated incorrectly when the setting chosen for item rates is Tax Inclusive or Tax Exclusive. This issue has been fixed.

  • Changes have been made to how the Companies and Contacts modules in FSM are synced to the Customers module in Invoice/Books.

  • If the decimal places in the latitude and longitude of the contact address exceed six digits, then user is unable to create Work Orders, Estimates, or Requests in some FSM accounts. This issue has been temporarily fixed. The decimal places in the latitude and longitude values will be truncated to six digits while creating or editing Work Orders, Estimates, or Requests.
  • Two users of a Books account can integrate that Books organization to new FSM accounts they create. This issue has been fixed. An error message will be displayed when a second Books user tries to integrate the same Books organization to a new FSM account.

  • A new report Service Reports by Status has been added. This report will only be available in new sign up accounts.
  • The following changes have been done to the delete FSM organization process flow:
    • You cannot delete the Zoho FSM organization if the account is in the Standard (Paid) edition
    • The users in the account have to be deleted or deactivated before you can delete the FSM organization.
    • The organization can only be deleted seven days after the users are deleted or deactivated.

  • An issue in calculating the Grand Total when the Zoho Invoice settings include preferences like Tax Inclusive, Transaction level discount with Discount Before Tax has been fixed.

  • The billing status of the appointment doesn't change from None to Invoiced when an appointment is created after invoice generation. This issue has been fixed.
  • Any view selected in List pages changes to the default value when any page action (apply filter, choosing records per page) is performed. This issue has been fixed.
  • UI issues in dropdowns have been fixed. The distance of the caret icon from the right-side edge has been increased. In a multi-select dropdown, the caret icon will always be shown at the top right side.

The following changes are available in the latest version (Version 1.4.34) of the FSM mobile (Android) app:

  • OneAuth users encountered an invalid scope error while logging in. This issue has been fixed.
  • The scopes required for FSM mobile app have been added in IAM init method. This change has been made as a workaround for an IAM issue.
  • During login, an option to reauthorize the changed scopes has been added.

  • The Create Work Order form will be opened when the Create Work Order button is clicked at the end of the initial guided setup.
  • In the Create Appointment form, the Schedule and Dispatch option has been moved from the Schedule dropdown and is now placed outside next to the Schedule icon.
  • Tooltips have been added for all the icons used in the dispatch console.

Bug-Fixes
  • Upon selecting a field technician or crew from the Service Resources filter in the Dispatch Console Map view, the details of the service appointments assigned to it are displayed on the right side of the map. The Start/End Date Time was missing in these details. This issue has been fixed.
  • In the left panel of the Dispatch Console, you can choose the columns in the tabular view of the Work Orders tab using the column selector on the Work Orders List page. If one of these columns is deleted, then the Work Orders tab is loaded. This issue has been fixed.
  • In the Work Order Details page, or Service Appointment Details page, when you immediately switch to another tab from the Service tasks tab, details of the service task get loaded. This issue has been fixed.

  • An issue with the size of the force complete work order popup has been fixed.

Manage your field workforce

Zoho FSM allows you to set up your field service organization by defining your users and territories. Users with different profiles, like Administrators, Dispatchers, Customer Service Agents, and Field Technicians, can now be created. Service Territories and Skills can be assigned to these users and they can also be added to Crews.

Schedule and dispatch with efficiency

You can now use the Gantt and Map views of the Dispatch Console to manage your work requests, schedule appointments, and assign the right field technicians based on their skills and location. With the ability to view field technician schedules and work histories, you can effectively manage on-field technicians and crews. The ability to create schedules spanning multiple days, view the complete details of a service appointment from start to finish directly from the console, and many other features offer you seamless appointment management.

Advanced work order management

Myriad work orders can be managed, whether it needs to be assigned to multiple technicians or to a crew. You can now schedule multiple day appointments, and create Service Reports once the work is completed. Create and manage the different types of services offered by your organization and the products or parts related to it. Create work order templates that help you save time and facilitate the standardization of your field service tasks. Using Timesheets, track and manage the time spent by field technicians on each service. Also track the trips taken by field technicians for each appointment.

Estimates, invoicing, and payments

Zoho FSM now lets you create detailed estimates and invoices that go with your company's branding. Your field technicians can share invoices, request online payment for appointments, and automatically trigger notifications-all from their mobile app. Invoices generated are automatically synced into Zoho Books for managing and accounting.

Manage customers

You can now better manage your business contacts and companies, as well as import customers from Zoho Books directly into Zoho FSM. The complete history of the customer's previous requests, work orders, invoices, and payment can be viewed, thereby providing you with insights on upselling or cross-selling opportunities.

Mobilize your workforce

Transform your technicians into a formidable field unit using Zoho FSM's mobile app. Technicians can use the app to check their schedules, accurately navigate to service locations, and get themselves the right equipment. They can also log data in real time from out in the field, and attach photos, add notes, and create service reports. Time spent by technicians on each appointment can now be captured and they can also raise time-off requests. Online payments can be done and acknowledgment of work completion can be captured in the form of customer signature.
