Eventbrite Package

Eventbrite is an online platform for organizing and promoting events. It helps you advertise your events, sell tickets for your event, and manage attendees.

The Zoho Developer Eventbrite package allows users to:

  • Sync Eventbrite events and attendees with a CRM application. View the Eventbrite events in the Campaigns module and attendees in the Contacts or Leads module.
  • View personalized questions added for the events in the Eventbrite EventQuestions module and responses from attendees in the Eventbrite Event Answers module in the CRM application.
  • View all orders (ticket purchases) for an event in the Eventbrite Orders module in the CRM application.

The Eventbrite package consists of the following components:

 Activate the Eventbrite Package

  1. Log in to Zoho Developer Console and click CRM for Verticals.
  2. Select the application you'd like to modify and click Edit.
  3. Click Packages in the left pane. 
  4. Click the Activate button for Eventbrite package.
  5. Click Connectors in the left pane.
  6. Under the Associated Connectors tab, hover over Eventbrite Connector. Click View All APIs.
  7. In CRM Connectors page, click the "more options" icon and select Modify Connector Credentials..
  8. Provide a value for Client Id and Client Secret and click Save.
  9. Publish your VCRM.

 Use the Eventbrite Package

The user who signs up for the Vertical CRM solution needs to perform the following steps to use the Eventbrite package:

  1. Go to Setup > Developer Space > Connectors.
  2. In the CRM Connectors page, click Authorize for Eventbrite Connector.
  3. In the pop-up, specify the Email address and Password for the Eventbrite account and click Log In.
  4. In the Privacy policy page click Allow.

Synchronize Events

You can synchronize events from Eventbrite to your Zoho CRM account. The events will be added as campaigns in the CRM application. The attendees will added as lead or contact records depending on the settings you configure in the Eventbrite module. Every time you choose to synchronize, the existing events that were edited will also be updated in CRM application.

To synchronize events

  1. Go to the Eventbrite module.
  2. In the Eventbrite Settings page, click Sync Configuration and perform the following steps:
    • For Filter Events, select the type of events that you want to synchronize. For example, DraftLiveStarted, etc.
    • For Create Attendees As, select the module (leads or contacts) to associate the attendees with.
      The attendees to the event will be automatically associated with the module and they will be created as leads or contacts in the application depending on your selection.
    • If you want to start a scheduled synchronization, select Yes from the Enable Scheduled Sync drop-down list.
    • For Select Sync Occurence, set the frequency of the schedule as Daily or Weekly.
    • Click Save Settings.
      Events will be synchronized based on these settings.
  3. Click the Synchronization tab.
  4. Click StartSync to initiate the synchronization.

View Eventbrite Events in the CRM application

The synchronized events from Eventbrite can be accessed from the Campaigns module.

The attendees will be added as contacts (based on the settings). These contacts will have the LeadSource value set as Eventbrite.

The orders can be viewed in the Eventbrite Orders module.

You can also view the personalized questions created along with the event in the Eventbrite EventQuestions module and the responses of the attendees can be tracked using the Eventbrite Event Answers module.
