Basics of Zoho CRM

Getting started with a CRM system might seem a little overwhelming at first. With a multitude of features and settings available, it can be hard to figure out what to do first. It takes time to familiarize yourself with the product, but it's not as hard as it sounds.

Getting started with Zoho CRM is simple. When you sign in to Zoho CRM for the first time, you will be asked to enter your company information. Once that is done, you'll have the option to fill your CRM with sample data so that you can experiment with the different features that are available before importing your live data.

The key to effectively using a CRM system is becoming familiar with the product. When you log in to CRM, the first page that you see is the home page, where you can monitor all the activities you have for the day. The tabs on the top are modules where you will add information about your leads, contacts, deals, and so on. All the CRM configurations are grouped under the Setup page.

Views and Filters+

Once you start adding data into CRM, you might need to sort, organize, or use filters to find the information that you need quickly. Manually searching for a piece of information every time is not always feasible. By default, Zoho CRM offers three types of views: List, Kanban, or Canvas that you can toggle between. When you are looking for a specific piece of information, you can make use of advanced filters. Advanced filters allow you to specify the criteria you want to use to display data.

Ways to configure CRM+

The main CRM settings are all found within the Setup page. Here, you can add personal and company information, configure email, social channels, and customize fields and templates. You can also automate your business processes using Workflow Rules and automation tools, and manage your data. In short, the setup page is the complete control panel of your CRM.
